Re: MorningStar Zwei (NaNo 2009 late release) v1.2

Is it me, or is there a bug in the server-side software for all the links from the Home page for the mabsoft site? I stumbled onto this thread here an hour or so ago, and after much hunting, I cannot find a download, just a pile and a half custom server/database errors.

Re: Anyone for a Strike-team VN?

Dark, drop me a PM with an email address, and I'll send you the existing text, and you can have a look over it. If you're still interested after that, send back a few sketches, and we'll see where we can go from there. I did find some music and sound effects, so that'll be a lot less hassle. Still g...

Re: Touting

Yes, Do Want. It'd help matters on a number of levels. "Toast" as a noun has been made nearly interchangeable with the word "penis" in the Poser Community, and I've been hearing the reference more and more amongst the outside community as well. Drives me nuts, but there it is. No...

Re: Anyone for a Strike-team VN?

If I was going to use Poser art for placeholders, I'd render all new images and go hunting for hand-drawn. The first several chapters of the original novel can be seen by request, as well as a timeline for the rest of the work. Grand total, I'm estimating about 100,000 words by the time it's over(in...

Re: Anyone for a Strike-team VN?

Nice music :) I have a representative sampling on the way, and I can go digging for more. I saw a lot of the horrid Poser stuff you were talking about, and was kindof leery about using Poser for exactly that reason. I have somewhat better skills myself than all that, if you want to have a look at ht...

Anyone for a Strike-team VN?

I was looking over the threads for NaNoRenO over the last couple of years, and then flipped through my NaNoWriMo entries for the last few years. When all the dust settled, I had the notebook for my winning project for 2006, Nano Empire. Needless to say, I have a good chunk of the script done(and wor...

Re: Is this a good idea, program-wise?

Doesn't seem like a Bad Idea, but watch your story components carefully, especially with social links. The backend shouldn't be horrid, but I'm a newcomer to Ren'Py myself, so I will defer to the wisdome of those who have posted before me. It'd be easy to get utterly snarled up, especially for somet...

Re: Android Ren'Py!

I think it's more because they need to support Unreal Engine, Unity, and idtech5 so they can keep the big dev houses developing for them. iOS devices are eating into the handheld market so it wouldn't be surprising that they need all the bigger players to maintain dominance against Nintendo and Son...

Time to add it to the queue too... Wandering through these Forums is going to seriously cut into my writing time. ;)

Re: [SERIOUS, small update] Looking for a regular artist!

I'm not a artist (leastaways I'm not a whole lot of good with pencils), but I can write. If you need someone to go back over the project script and get the English version cleaned up for you so it sounds right to an English-speaking audience. As far as traditional prose, I'm mostly a Science-Fiction...
