I've been wanting to comment here for a while, but there. I am interested in this. (I've subscribed to the thread, by the way.)

If you don't have a fight scene, you can just make a scene with a big argument or something, if the fight scene won't fit. Also, not every VN has a fight scene.

Okay, here's our opinion on it: Piet - I lean more towards VNs rather than KNs, but I do know that there are times when VN is the way to go, and there are times when KN is the way to go. I was thinking, maybe you could go with the "warning before the scene" route. When the player chooses to not see the scene, perhaps you could give a funny description of that scene as replacement? If it is only one scene, then there should be no reason for epileptics to not be able to play...
