Re: Writers and editors needed! (may be paid)

This sounds really interesting, but how much work would this require? Like approximately how many words are going to be written for dialogue, and approximately how much would you edit if you were an editor? And when's the time frame for when you want this finished, and how many hours of work a day w...

Re: Project credits etiquette.

Thanks, everyone! I wasn't planning to steal credit or anything, so I wanted the site etiquette clarified. Now I get it. :)

Re: The Edge of Magic (Modern fantasy)

As one of the demo proofreaders, I assure everyone looking at the thread that this demo is FANTASTIC. I am genuinely mindblown by the level of effort and detail in everything (plot, writing, art, and programming) and this is only the beginning. This is definitely a game worth checking out, and it wi...

Project credits etiquette.

Since I'm a writer/proofreader newbie, I've been jumping in on a lot of projects that already have a lot of work done on them. So when they are completed, is it etiquette to not put them in my own "completed" section? Or should I keep them there to show my own credibility? I'm sure there's...

Re: Reverse Robin (Nano '13)

Sorry...I tried, but it made absolutely no sense, and it wasn't really terribly intriguing either...more of a big jumble of confusion and changing character faces. But it's good that your group had fun. xD

Re: Eileen's Otome Love Story [GxB][Random?]Updated 5/14

This looks really helpful and hopefully funny, but the fact that lots of artists made different sprites makes it seem a bit unpolished, unfortunately. Eileen and the blond lady are hands-down the most well-done.

Re: I want 2 be single [Comedy]

THIS IS HILARIOUS. I thought my sides would split! Everything about it had me in tears, and despite being ridiculous, it actually was getting at the heart of some big otome game issues in the most funny manner possible. I wish this had been a real game, though, only because your guy's CGs are so bea...

Re: Fantasia, The Realm of Thanos v 1.2 is now up!

I played this game forever ago and I don't really remember all the details, but it was great. It was really long for hours of gameplay and had fantastic character development and plots the whole time. I think the art could use improvement, but the premise, the interesting plot, and the fantastic wri...

Re: My Teacher [Otome] [NaNoRenO 2013]

I'm sorry, but this game was pretty terrible. The art wasn't bad but definitely was rough around the edges. The premise wasn't too bad. But the writing? It was either cliche or standard/basic and seemed pretty unnatural for speech. The plot was extremely contrived romance that was very rushed and di...

Re: Signed X [rom-com][GxB][NaNoRenO 2013]

I was pretty disappointed in this game since I absolutely adore Summer Found Me. The art is a little bit strange (especially the main character's hairstyle) and it seemed rough around the edges. And the premise of a crazy heroine trying to set up a romantic scenario seemed pretty funny, but while so...

Re: Days of the Divine [fantasy otome] [NaNoRenO 2013] + And

This game was wonderful! The premise itself is very intriguing and original, with a really great cultural background and a strong plot. The art and soundtrack were absolutely beautiful and perfectly executed. And the writing was also well-done and very interesting, especially since the right choices...

Re: Heartstring Bugs [dating sim, otome] (Guide's up)

I have invested a lot of time into this game. The first route was exciting as I collected outfits, worked hard, and got Lucas's ending! It wasn't my favorite, but it was fun. And I have also gotten Chase and Dimitri. But the problem is that after a while, playing this game becomes a real chore and a...

Re: Nacira [GxB][Comedy,Romance,Mystery,History]

Not sure if I'm really a fan of this game. I'm Indian and know the Mahabharata well, but I don't know how different the Indonesian version is...but I don't know if I liked any of the guys, or that they represented the story at all. There really wasn't too much character depth, development or even pe...

Re: Left of Center [Comedy, Friendship, BxB/BxG, NaNo13]

I really, really liked this game! The art was great, the writing was great, and all the routes were very fun. I was confused in thinking at first that the teacher had a route that was missing. xD (I would have loved to see that.) Santa was hands-down my favorite, but I really loved all of the charac...

Re: Get Dumped ☆

I LOVE THIS GAME TO DEATH. The art is absolutely wonderful and exactly my ideal art. The writing was hilarious and had me in stitches. But in the end, the character development for both of them made it heartfelt and realistic. I think this little otome parody actually produced one of my favorite cou...
