Re: Eldritch Academy [GxG Romance/Horror][Commercial]
I did a double-take when I saw the "Eldritch" in your game name. Great theme, and "Sudden appearance of monsters" is always an awesome thing to have happen. Some of my favorite games are horror games. I also have a question for those with some spare time: Does a horror game requi...

Help panning a scene background
Maybe someone here can explain this. Pretty much what I'm trying to do is make a scene appear, show the image background appear for a few seconds and then pan down to the bottom of the background. my background height is double my resolution size. It works and it doesn't. Here's what I've got. label...

Re: [Tutorial] Customizing Menus
Thanks so much for this tutorial. Just changed my main menu. I havent changed the preferences or load screens yet, but when I click on them I get an error message saying that "Showmenu is not defined". I just started with all this, but is this happening because the load/preferences has not...

Re: Handling Fight Scenes in VNs
While I cant give immediate advice on this (maybe one day i'll be able to), one thing I feel i can say is that there is no wrong option: quicktime, multiple CGs, AMVs. I can picture all of these working in my head. I think that seeing a bad implementation of these methods can make someone say that t...

Re: OST in Visual Novels
Totally agree with you. Been a big fan of OSTs in all forms of media. As far as video games go I tend to use Final Fantasy Tactics for Playstation as an good example of how music can play a tremendous role in the game. Youre moving these sprites on the tiles of the screen, and looks great, but then ...

Question on making game fill entire screen in fullscreen.
Hi all. After looking through these forums about making a game wide screen, I'm currently making my images 1024X600 and changing the options.rpy width to the same dimensions. This however leaves a small black bar between my images and the edge of the screen (while in fullscreen mode). I can totally ...
