Re: Heroic Spirit Assassin Part One

Are any of these linux compatible? If not could you upload the linux version as well please? Guide to open any visual novel made with Ren'Py: 1. Install Ren'Py 2. Download the novel and put it into the folder you specified as the save folder 2a. Unzip the downloaded file in the same folder 3. Open ...

Re: help multiple: how to change text based on variable

It's also worth pointing out that Ren'Py always does stuff exactly in the order it encounters it, so if you have a series of tests in this order: if bline >= 0: ... jump GV_Test if bline == 3: ... if bline == 10: ... then the second two tests are never going to evaluate to true. If 'bline' is 3 or ...

Re: help multiple: how to change text based on variable

Another problem. While trying to run this it keeps looping between if aline >= 0[code] [code] label a_execution: if aline >= 10: "that is enough, you \"won the game\" (well rather a)" jump GV_End if aline >= 3: "you gained 1 experience for a. You now have 4, rank up. " ...

help multiple: how to change text based on variable

UNSOLVED SOLVED: 1.) How do you have a "jump" send you to another .rpy because I have jump GV_Test: and everytime I get ScriptError: could not find label 'GV_Test'. I assume there's a specific way to send to another .rpy? 2.) How exactly do I get it where a specific text is based on a var...

Re: your fetish?

Traps? What kind of fetish is that? Can you explain it in more detail? A trap would be like the person in this video . Pretty much. It's when a guy dresses up as a girl and is very convincing. Ironically the link she posted was the first trap I fell in love with unknowingly . It's why I notic...

Re: your fetish?

- Tsundere (I dunno why, must be the masochism in me :3) - Shy girls (especially if Tsundere are being shy) - Hats (I generally will find girls in hat hotter than without 8/10 times) (and this is something recently that seems to be tickling my fetish meter for some reason) - Traps (I blame Tissue-Hi...

Re: how to view code?

I think if they set developer = false (or something like that in the option section) it makes it impossible to see script. (guessing) if we can that would be helpful, or if someone's willing to give a script of one of their old game or completed games would be nice :o. Addedum: Also tengo you could ...

Re: Puzzles in your RPGs?

This one is a bit more specific (Eternal Sonata) but that stupid puzzle in this like secret entrance that requires you moving huge platforms through water. Sounds awesome and the dungeon looks awesome, the problem is the puzzle room is so damn huge, and I mean HUUUUGE! that just to get to another sw...

[SOLVED]Re: small problem: syntax error when referring to im

You omitted the comma between the first and second parameters of FactorScale. image s h = im.FactorScale("Satsuki_happy.png", 0.5, 0.5) oh man  so obvious too. This is like the 10th time I misplaced a letter or a punctuation and spent like an hour looking for it. Thank you.

this except take out the black. I dunno maybe it's just my computer but it makes it REALLY dark. Other than that maroon and dark blue is really nice :3.

[SOLVED]small problem: syntax error when referring to image.

Which I cannot seem to fathom. I'm sorry, but errors were detected in your script. Please correct the errors listed below, and try again. On line 19 of C:\Users\ShatteredFoX\Documents\Project\Project n00b/game/script.rpy: invalid syntax im.FactorScale("Satsuki_happy.png" 0.5, 0.5) ^ Ren'Py...

'Ello I'm ShatteredFoX but feel free to call me FoX or SFX (capitals optional.) Always been a big fan of visual novels and are currently writing one with a friend of mine thanks to the tools supplied by Ren'Py. Since we're using it might as well take part of the community, who knows we might make so...
