Re: If I Did It

I'd definitely enter. Though not for money. Just... to try to pull it off and win. :)

Now let's see if you're going to hold this contest 7 years from now. XD

Passion fruit and innocent kids' juices? Yeah, that sounds totally groovy... Totally non-sexual. Now I'm in the mood for that stuff. "Powered by emotion" was interpreted as... :laughs so much that guts are bursting: The below is a photo of Russian dishwashing liquid. http://www.goodexperie...

Re: Horror visual novels?

( ' ' ) Why is it that everyone is making out the "survivor" endings to be the best? The thing with trying to make a horror VN is trying to get the player to feel trepidation, the creeps, et cetera. It's fairly easy to get the player mixed up on what's "reality" and what's not, b...

Re: SLOW DEVIANTART IS SLOW...

dA tends to be especially sluggish for me during the weekends, at an hour where a lot of people are bound to be active... Otherwise, it just takes maybe one second (which is still slow, I think) for everything to load.

Re: Turning ideas into script

:bangs head on desk: You lazy, lazy people... Map out your ideas in a nice outline, and read it over. If you still want to do the project, tweak those ideas until you think it's perfect. And then write paragraphs upon paragraphs upon paragraphs of script. Alternatively, you can use the outline to d...

Re: Criticism and Pushing the Envelope

Because people don't want to and can't do other settings, unfortunately. (;-_-) I guess this is what happens when most of your entertainment/your favorite entertainment comes from Japan? I mean, if all the movies you absolutely love were Bollywood movies, and you mostly listen to Indi-pop, and you t...

...I'm not sure "uke" is the word you're looking for. XD

I would love to see how these two characters would interact with each other.

Re: Games based off classic literature?

The definition of "classic" may vary from one person to the next, but in the end, I'd really enjoy seeing some ADVs/VNs/SLGs that give hats to good ol' stories from a variety of authors I may have adored, or perhaps never even heard of. :D :envisions Hana Fuda (which isn't actually a class...

Re: Criticism and Pushing the Envelope

Or, as you said, motivation... My observations (and thus perceptions): Most of the games that have been recently released are only representative of some of LSF's developers. But, since lower-than-desired-quality games make up most of the Ren'Py game list, some people get the impression those are th...

Re: New Visual Novel Idea: Strange Neighbors

I personally think "creator favoritism in the game" won't be a problem as long as it's not too obvious in the game unless the "canon ending" is reached. Or else the people playing the game and rooting for the catgirl are going to be pretty ticked off...

Hmmm... Is that going to be the whole logo? Because it looks to my eyes that there's just too much empty space on the right... But if that's the main menu and that's where the menu's going, then never mind. :)

Re: Criticism and Pushing the Envelope

Concerning the awards thing: Okay, no awards for games based on demographic or genre... No "Gei Game of the Year," "Romantic Comedy Game of the Year," or "Otome Game of the Year." There aren't many developers, and I doubt there will be many Otome awards to give out any...
