Favorite AMV, eh? This isn't very professionally done nor is it that popular, but I like the emotion embodied in this one:

Re: What do you do to improve your writing?
Oh, I forgot. I think hanging out in forums with some degree of intelligence and actively participating in topics of interest inadvertently improves your writing skill as well. See? I just posted in this topic and I can feel my "literary skills" stat building up with every word I put in. :...

Re: What do you do to improve your writing?
I just write whenever I please. When I am working on a particular story, I tend to get in just a few hundred words each day -- no exceptions. I don't really feel that there is a need to improve in creative writing since it's a lot more subjective than art wherein people can make conventions and in s...

Re: Posting encouraging and useful feedback on WIPs
@auro-cyanide: Thanks for clarifying. In that case, I agree. I'm also just using your previous post as leverage to address a bigger overarching issue I have with this forum that some people think that if they offer critique that the critique should be taken unquestioningly as truth when most of the ...

Granted, but so are you so you'll have to read your books in braille.
I wish people would stop bitching about their imaginary problems.

Re: Posting encouraging and useful feedback on WIPs
Like you said, it's good to touch base with other people to see how things are going so you don't lose massive amounts of (time/money/effort) creating something that is critically flawed (like your example). People generally make games for people to play and enjoy, so it's a shame to see it go to w...

Re: Posting encouraging and useful feedback on WIPs
I don't have the time to post critique and most projects in the WIP thread fail to interest me. I prefer to review completed games anyway rather than try to "help someone improve." I'm selfish that way. In the few times that I have offered constructive criticism in the Skill Development fo...

Re: Uh... How to make my linearts... cleaner??
I personally use the pen tool in photoshop since I actually find it easier and faster to use than my drawing tablet. After you've done about 10 drawings using the pen tool, it becomes pretty instinctive to use. Of course, this is provided that you know how to use the tool properly.

Re: JustAnotherArtDumpage (Critiques please)
@JustAnotherMe: The pic is great. It really captures the atmosphere of the story I wrote and I'm honored that you did fanart for it. Thank you! From left to right, I'd say Joey, Jerry and Michael. Did I guess it right? As a side note, the Blackbird is a real plane, btw. Here's a pic: http://www.carb...

Re: The discrimination of OELVNs?
@Fawn: I didn't say I never read ANY of them now did I? That still doesn't answer my question too. Some of the ones I have read (not a comprehensive list): -The Sight of Autumn -Gakuen Redux - pseudo Japanese names but probably set in mikeyverse -Time's Tear -Angelic Orbs: Broken Memories -Winter Sh...

Re: The discrimination of OELVNs?
Question: Are there really that many OELVNs set in Japan or is this a general impression based on other sources? I don't read a lot of them, so I wouldn't know. The ones that I have read did have some unavoidable Japanese influence though, but I'd say you could count with your fingers on one hand th...

Re: Which anime do you like the most?
For ongoing series, Fate/Zero seems nice although it's too early to judge. As for my favorite anime of all time, it really depends on the genre. Some of my favorites include BlackJack, AIR, Gundam Seed, Kinou's Journey, Aishiteruze Baby and Honey and Clover.

Re: Have a Short Story? (Wanna practice making a game)
@JustAnotherMe: Yah, I prefer my stories to be bittersweet and a little bit open-ended, although I always do try to resolve all major plot points before concluding. Well, thank you for reading, anyway. If you feel like it, certainly! Feel free to make a pic.

Re: Have a Short Story? (Wanna practice making a game)
I have a story that I was planning to turn into a VN sometime. I just don't have enough free time right now. In any case, see if you're interested: http://www.fictionpress.com/s/2816784/1/The_Blackbird
