Oh, this was really fantastic! The world-building was subtle, but Ife's reactions told enough about what the various world elements meant in context. The characters were both very endearing, as well. There were a few coding glitches in this (such as narration showing up as being from Lucian), and one of the music tracks was a little unsettling (the first one that plays after the menu), as well as the aforementioned notes about sentence fragments. (Question to people who've played For Ambergris: Would that be off-putting and you'd much prefer to see something with the same tone/protagonist?) I think I wouldn't mind seeing some different characters in the same universe, so long as there's some clear (if perhaps indirect) tie to the first game...

To be honest, I kind of found Jay super annoying! He acts pretty childish for a grown man, haha.

That said, this game was a fun and charming little diversion, and the art was lovely!

The demo was fantastic. Definitely looking forward to this game!

Could you post up a bit more about the story of your project? And what will you be contributing to the project? You say long-term, but can you narrow that down a little? Potential contributors need to know what sort of commitment they're getting into.

And yes, I agree it's a little on the saccharine side at points, but our goal was to make a game that was completely light-hearted, so I'm glad we achieved that.

Haa, is there a way to change the default I wonder? She scares me every time she shows up. Then again, it is an immediate and stark way to notice when I've typo'd an expression name.
