As for me, I went to Japan...well because I've wanted to go since I was a kid because of teh animes! But as I grew up I learned bits about their culture, and then when I was studying Japanese in college my teacher hosted a trip to go to Sendai that was for *FREE* (mostly, through scholarship money) ...

...I haven't actually made a game yet successfully ;w;
But I discovered Ren'py when I was 16 or 17.

Well maybe translating the trailer into Japanese might make Japanese-English translators interested in translating the games? With creator's permission of course.

(not that the English-speaking world has a good track record of that, with rampant fan translating...)
