Re: Deja Vu [Concept]
I am a writer. So naturally I'm looking at wiritng the script. But I still need a programmer and artist to assist me. Anyways if your interested drop a line here... Join the club, man. Damn near everyone looking for a partner is a writer who can't draw. ^_^ Seriously, though, if you like it, go for...

Re: All About Sequels, Remakes, Uncut Versions
You can have Asuka Langley star as a magical girl, but you can't have Sherlock Holmes become a mecha pilot or he will cease to be Sherlock Holmes) heh.. I"ve seen similar arguments in the case of The Doctor (the Time Lord from the BBC series "Doctor Who") I read some printed "co...

Re: All About Sequels, Remakes, Uncut Versions
*sniff* my NWN mod part 3 was prevented from existing by my then-graphics card exploding and refusing to handle any 3d at all. by the time i could afford to replace it (i was VERY poor at the time) it had been so long i could barely remember what i was doing, and the NWN codebase had been changed r...

Re: All About Sequels, Remakes, Uncut Versions
Trust me, nothing annoys a player more then playing "Part I" of a story, and then "Part II" never shows up. Not only does this happen in freeware, it happens a lot more often because people lose interest or have to get a real job. I play both NWN Modules and Thief 2 Fan Missions ...

Re: Anyone interested in writing for a Pokemon galge?
Wish I could volunteer, but I haven't watched Pokemon since the first season. However, I think the fan-community still produces some good fanfic writers that you might be able to recruit. I don't know where they hang out, but if it's eroge you're making the AGNPH archive website should still be arou...

Re: Memorable quotes
My HDD crashed (again) so I lost my entire collection of quotes (again). Thus I want to get some inspiration from you guys. Post your favorite quotes. They can be from anywhere, but you get bonus points if they're from a VN. To start off, here's one of mine: "Where is Heaven? - Above the sky a...

Re: Game system ideas?
I don't know your exact requirements but I've noticed something about giving "freedom" to the player for movements : if the player can only trigger new things by going to clearly marked places on your map, you might want to consider a simple "click-to-go-there" scheme instead of...

Re: What are your favorites?
Well, I mainly know what I see on Cartoon Network, so I'd have to say my current favorite is Naruto, followed by Blood+. Bleach, IMHO, is hugely overrated. At Otakon a few weeks ago I saw some stuff that I'm interested in seeing more of- Phantom Memory Kurau and Tide-Line Blue come to mind. Witchbla...

Re: First pespective or second perspective?
Shinkai has three movies (Voices of a Distant Star, Beyond the Clouds, and 5 Centimeters a Second). He's also done a number of movies for Minori visual novels. Well, in that case, he has four. You left out "The Place Promised in our Early Days". Which is super-awesome, BTW. Uneven buildup...

Re: First pespective or second perspective?
That stream-of-consciousness writing style works. Makoto Shinkai uses it in his most brooding works, I think. Huh? The Voice of a Distant Star guy? Doesn't he only have two movies under his belt? I'm not sure you can talk about his "most brooding works" in that context- at the very least,...

Re: Problem with Uploading
Nothing. Rapidshare does not exist, due to it being so annoying. Heh. I keep hearing that, and frankly, I just don't see it. It's way less hassle then getting a website of your own, and a lot more benign then some of the file sharing sites out there. Their download limits can be obnoxious, but come...

Re: First pespective or second perspective?
First person should be "I" Second person should be "You" Third person should be "S/he" Don't get things confused. I'm reminded of that dojo scene in Rush Hour 3: "I am Yuu." "No, who are you?" "I am Yuu." "How about him?" "M...
