Re: Background 2D/3D artist

This is fantastic. Always mesmerized by backgrounds that use 3D as a base.

Re: GUI Programmer/Designer/Misc Services [Free/Paid][Open]

Dovah did exactly as I ordered in a swift amount of time. Just that quick my humble project began to look a lot more professional. Dovah makes sure to understand exactly what you want if you just so happen to leave out a few of the details (like I did). I highly recommended their work and I will be ...

Re: Skillots - Super easy way to work with Japanese artists

I hired a Japanese artist from Skillots awhile back, thanks to the suggestion of this thread. I was able to communicate with the Japanese speaker using simple English sentences without using a human translator, and it worked out pretty well. But I suppose it really depends on the artists' English co...

Since this is a high school setting, are you looking for jazzy type music or something specific?

Re: Looking to create music

I agree that music study would be helpful, but not required. I woke up one morning and decided to make music. Learning musical notes and things like scale would have made my compositions a lot easier, I just neglect to study. I just go by ear.

Re: Blemish [Drama][Suspense][Commercial]

The art looks great. Absolutely wonderful. Hopefully we'll get a little more of the story later on to further understand where each character is coming from since it's a little vague now. But overall, it looks good as of now. Good luck on the project man! :D Thanks a bunch, pal. I'll definitely try...

I really enjoy it, but I never really give others a chance. I guess I just am able to perform what I need with its simplicity.

Well, Tom seemed to have replied to that tweet and isn't denying the fact unless I'm missing something. I'm quite fond of Unity; it could yield some interesting ideas.

Re: Voiceacting in Commercial VNs-- do you?

It requires a lot of direction and the right voice actors; achieving both is not a walk in the park. It's easier for VN creators who don't care about believable voiceovers. I feel a narrative could suffer if the voice acting isn't stellar; specifically if it is featured in a serious narrative. It sh...

Re: Do you think visual novels are growing or slowly dying?

Growing, but it seems mostly in the direction of smut rather than serious games. People are starting to associate the Sakura series with the genre as a whole in the west. That's why I will probably stop calling my games visual novels altogether and call them adventure games instead, because it's im...
