Re: Female characters - why they are how they are
Actually, the titles I have suggested are from three most common types of VN: ADV-VN (or classic bishoujo game), Nakige, "Nukige" (with tendency to Netorare). But yeah with titles that describe horny situations, it's no wonder you have woman characters with overdevelopped anatomy parts and...

Re: Female characters - why they are how they are
Not *that* uncommon. I've seen plenty, although it's not standard for every character in a game to be that way. There are plenty of games, though, where most or every datable female character is clearly drawn in such a way that you're supposed to be focusing on their sexual attributes. Look at the ...

Re: An innovative tool to help 3D modelers to create models
It would be funny if you could use it, like a realistic representation of what you see on the screen. And if it works in both ways! That's what I thought when I first saw this. Imagine your nendoroid/figurine/doll coming to life just as it displays on the screen! (please don't make them Chucky-ish t...

Re: Sprite Size
If you're asking which size you should use when you're drawing your sprites: I think it depends on your default screen resolution for your game. Without trying to be boring, say your default screen is 1440*900 (ratio 9:10) for full screen, then you will want to make a sprite that won't be too deform...

Re: Female characters - why they are how they are
I think Cloudie somehow explained why most japanese commercial VNs are male oriented. And Lemma has brought notable food for thought in this matter. But the VN original market is only a part of the issue. There is also the cultural gap about immediate action/reaction that is part of the western gami...

Re: PAID JOB - WANTED (Maya Tutor via Skype) ASAP
I think being tutored for Maya through skype is like trying to rebuild a watch while using winter gloves. It's not impossible, but that would be really hard. Maybe would it be best if you had a teacher close at hand in case you don't know how to use the software to render the scene in the way you wa...

Re: What women want from female characters
Reminds me of those indecisive and plain harem protagonists that every reader hates but for some reason are still widely used in manga/games. I wonder why? : / That's because the indecisiveness is part of the narration process: it's a mean to reset all relationship to a previously step/neutral zone...

An innovative tool to help 3D modelers to create models
Students from the university of Tsukuba, Japan, have created a company named SoftEther corp. This company has created QUMA, a tool to help 3D-CG artists. Combined with a software of their own, it becomes some sort of "visual model", that you can move, like the puppet you handle to help you...

Is she wearing a prototype of pedobear on her head?
Joke aside, I find her very cute! But I think her Zettai Ryouiki is too short.

Waaa! I'm SO going to order this when it will be available in my country! I hope the ballpoint will not cost too much to change over time. There might be a need for a smooth surface too. I also hope I won't lose the pen somewhere... Because there are lots of warp zones in my room. One day I lost my ...

Re: Making a video
It would be nice if there was someone with advanced MAD skills to guide us into how to make a good OP. And ideas. I only used renpy to make some sort of in game video. I wanted to achieve the same result as the ending in Cross Channel. But it takes time. I had the OP made 85% by then before my HD cr...

These sprites are really good! I'll just use them as placeholders if you don't mind.
