Re: Story idea from a beginner.

This sounds like a really awesome and unique idea! I see a lot of potential for some real psychological depth to the story. I'm especially interested in Jill.

Re: Writing Dump and Critique

No problem! The same thing happens to me when I'm writing assignments. XD I just kind of go off on a tangent and end up with some really long-winded sentences that I have to go back and correct later. Just wanted to compliment you on your story again. It was very good. :3 EDIT (because I don't want ...

Re: Writing Dump and Critique

@Wakagana Okay, so I read your story, and it was really good! I loved how you described everything so vividly, it really did give me an image in my mind of the scenery and what was happening. The only problem is that there are some grammatical errors and A LOT of sentences that go on too long and sh...

Re: Favourite font(s)?

I've still yet to decide what font(s) I'm going to use in my VN project and my KN project, but in terms of what fonts I use for things in general (including papers and such), I love Times New Roman. I don't know why, but I really just adore it. I also really liked Century Gothic, but since I got Win...

Re: I need help with my course project.

What was the first visual novel you played? Moonshine. What do you like the most about visual novels? How a combination of art, music, and (sometimes) voice acting can enhance the reading experience and allow you to see the story in a different way than if it was just a regular novel. What is your ...

Ah, I've got to get off the computer for a bit, but as soon as I get back, I'll read what you wrote! I love it when people write long things. :3

Re: Writing Dump and Critique

Just dumping some random scene/notes that came to my head regarding "Requiem for You" (a project of mine). Since I had been having some writing block, I listened to some music that reminded me of the story, and a portion of a scene came to my head, as well as some notes. Some backstory fir...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

Man, having depression, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder sucks. *high fives* Looks like you have the same quad diagnosis as they gave me! (mine's a little bit trichotillomania, though) I find the reason why I get particularly bad at night is because my...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

Man, having depression, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder sucks. Night time has always been hard for me for some reason (lots of panic attacks, almost nightly now), but I was always just anxious, not depressed. Now it's both. Once it gets dark, I get rea...

Re: When to Draw the Line… Age Ratings?

This is just my opinion, but I actually consider that to be a G-rated scene. XD Even if that were a sex scene that didn't feature nudity or explicit descriptions, it would be PG-13 stuff. I think you'll be fine. :3 As for the concept of a human/nonhuman relationship, I'm fine with the idea. For inst...

Re: BL fans, I need your advice...

I would actually prefer something more tame, as I'm not into hardcore stuff. I like sweet, innocent love stories (of all romance genres - GL, BL, heterosexual love stories - but we're talking about BL here), which is relatively hard to find with BL, so I would really enjoy something like that.

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

Oooh, I've gotta give that Write or Die thing a try... XD Man, I'm glad I'm not alone in this. XD I seem to procrastinate on any task I'm set out to do, even if it's something I really want to do. I'm having the same problem getting an AMV done; I've got a good five unfinished projects. My next cont...

Re: How do you feel about sharing code?

I'm all for sharing code and helping other people out. If I were any good at code at this point, I would definitely share mine, but I'm still learning the basics.
