I found a thread that covers this! The keyword was "survey."
viewtopic.php?t=26143
It's doesn't necessarily cover player choices, but I'm sure I can work something out. Gonna go ahead and mark this as "solved."

Re: Red-Handed Robin [GxB] [Adventure] [Romance] [Gaslamp Fantasy] [NaNo2020]
I like the cut of your jib. Are you working on this by yourself?? Your cover art is amazing, very eye-catching. It's going to be a fantastic banner when you upload the game. I love how firmly motivated these love interests are, and I find myself interested in getting to know them. I also appreciate ...

(SOLVED) Collecting Data on Player Choices?
In games like Telltale's Batman, at the end of each episode, the game displays a percentage of how many players chose the same decisions you did . I was wondering if it's possible for Ren'py games to collect similar data, and send them back to the developer? I've never seen anything in the documenta...

Re: (UPDATED) How much is my coloring style worth and which style would you prefer?
Since you're asking for critique in a visual novel development forum, maybe I can help you narrow down what people here are interested in seriously purchasing; 1) Full-body character sprites, with exchangeable clothes and facial expressions. Your lefthand style is better suited to sprites. Character...

Re: Indentation Mismatch Error
Yeah, trooper6 is right. Very kind to fix it, too!
"Indentation mismatch" means you need to watch your "indents," because something is tabbed/spaced incorrectly. (: Here's the documentation: https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/language ... and-blocks

Re: Unique Hover Options for Hotspots
Yay you did it on your own lol. Proud of you! I was gonna recommend trying hovered imagebuttons on top of the hotspots, but your solution nicely cuts out the middleman.

I was wondering why I didn't see your entry in MFGJ 2019... Then I remembered that I only took part in MFGJ spring 2019, not winter. Gave you a follow on itch because I'd love to give this a try. I'm looking forward to leaving feedback soon! Your longterm diligence and the affection you have for the...

I've been silently following development on tumblr! I love your "before and after" art and you've worked so hard, you have my utmost admiration. Can't wait to give this a try someday.

Re: How can I edit/make new Ease transitions
Heya! Just wanted to ask for some clarity. I want my character to "slowly look up" from the ground as a transition, and the default easeintop does it WAY too fast to be dramatic. I tried out "easeintop," and it causes the sprite to drop feet first from the very top of the screen....

This video on advanced displayables might help!
It does require you to save a unique set of eyes in specifically marked folders, so you can have as many unique blinks as you need.

Re: (SOLVED!) Livecomposite Minigame - Random Rewards on Click
Before I take a stab at the timed feature, I did manage to figure out how to create random hotspot coordinates. No new questions, just wanted to update the thread for anybody in the future who might be struggling with something like this. (: (That "anybody" has been "me" many, ma...

Re: I need help to show two veiwports at once.
I have used a viewport only once in my life (last month), so this is an observation made with a starkly untrained eye...... But do you really need both screens? Shouldn't it work if you put both viewports into a single screen? screen books(): viewport: xalign 0.1 ypos 800 xysize (375, 420) spacing 0...

Re: How should I...start?
The general consensus I believe, is to start small. This is very true. On the art front -- there are a couple of approaches you can take. The first: You can use some visual novel asset packs as stand-ins for your characters. Some are free. I'm sure you can find more copyright-free sprites with a qu...

Re: Livecomposite Random Rewards on Click (Minigame)
You need to run the random setting each time a spot is chosen. As far as I can see you only run it once (when you define the variable). The variable then remains the same throughout the game. So, you could set the variable right before calling the screen, or in the screen itself. $ CivillianRMC_Set...

(SOLVED!) Livecomposite Minigame - Random Rewards on Click
Hi all! I'm still a self-taught going-on-intermediate coder and I'm not quite at my wit's end. What I've built so far as been from researching the documentation and youtube videos, and I'm at the point where I'd like to ask for some insight. I could be looking in the wrong places or using the wrong ...
