Re: VNDS -> Ren'Py Converter
Now I don't need Wine to play True Remembrance on Ubuntu, assuming this works for True Remembrance. But I should probably just use Wine anyway.

Re: Cute Knight Kingdom (sim/RPG, Windows only, commercial)
From the screenshots, I don't see any real inconsistency.

Where the Wild Things Are
This is kinda random, but I thought I'd ask about it anyway. Have of you folks seen the new film adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are? What did you think about it? I saw it recently, wrote a quick review on it, and am still in shock/awe about it.

Re: The first anime you ever saw?
Mine was either My Neighbor Totoro or Tottoi, which I believe I saw dubbed in English. Actually, I only remembered some very vague elements from the film, so I put some keywords in Google and found a fairly obscure anime movie made by Nippon Animation....

Re: "living in Communist country - the simulation game"
Governments calling themselves "Communist" have distorted the term so much that it has hardly any coherent meaning these days.

Well, by the links in delta's post, it looks like it's my game that put the masochism in "Ren'Py masochism". Drat.

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)
I thought I made it clear in another post a while ago that I had decided to leave the project, but some folks seem to think I'm still involved. I'm not, just to let you know. It's not that I have anything against the project, it's just that my story ideas veered off in another direction. Peace, Kazu...

Re: My Heart Becomes Ice Cream
Thanks for reading over my stuff - and pointing out another embarrassing error in "The Warmth of Our Socks". I think I typed that one far too quickly (or maybe I was just quite fatigued). In case I didn't make this clear enough, I'll note that most of "My Heart Becomes Ice Cream"...

I'm glad to live here, where I won't be drafted into anything unless situation becomes dire enough. Good luck with that (and with your VN project).madeener wrote:Compulsory military service coming up; making me a bit nervous.

Re: Coney Island background photographs
I've got proof that my pseudonym is masculine! There's a picture of this Kazuki (和希) and I'm pretty darn sure he's a man: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%AB%98% ... C%E5%B8%8C

I thought that way of writing Kazuki was masculine because of this page: http://www.behindthename.com/name/kazuki
It must have lied. Drat.

Re: Coney Island background photographs
Well, I've been using that pseudonym for some time now, so you could have copied me, but I'm sure you didn't. I chose the name because "Kazuki" when written "和希" includes characters meaning harmony and hope , while "Mishima" ("三島") was part of the pseudonym us...

Re: Conventions!
The New York Anime Festival is coming, and I'll be in the area, but I'm not sure if I'm enough of an otaku to justify buying a ticket. I'm mostly familiar with a certain subset of anime: Studio Ghibli, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Fullmetal Alchemist, Night on the Galactic Railroad...
