Re: Modus Operandi [GxB] [Murder Mystery]
Your artwork looks beautiful and I love mystery games so I'm up for this! I also agree with Hijiri - if the GxB if in the game for fanservice only then I'd rather have a straight-up murder mystery. Edit: Lol I saw your reply to Hijiri but got lazy to edit the sentence above...just ignore me.../shot...

Re: Modus Operandi [GxB] [Murder Mystery]
So the GxB aspect isn't really necessary? If that's the case, wouldn't it be easier to just cut that part entirely if it doesn't affect anything? Or is it more 'fanservice' than anything? Also: can you get through the game and solve the mystery without romancing anyone and be able to play it like a...

Re: Modus Operandi [GxB] [Murder Mystery]
Aah, the sprites are looking lovely so far ^^ and the story sounds interesting! I'll be keeping an eye on this :D Ah, thank you! We'll try to update it as much as we can. Just a quick question: I see that this game is tagged GxB, yet is also a murder-mystery. Does the GxB aspect play a role in the ...

Re: Game Length
If we're talking about personal preference, I like my stories as long as possible, but it's not as if I enjoy grinding. Generally, I think it should be going until what you set out to do is done, storyline was done, character development is done, no loose plot threads dangling anywhere...it should a...

Re: How to be ORIGINAL ~ Brian McDonald
I couldn't have said it better myself. I've seen a ton of people struggling with this, and even I did at one point. It's great that you noticed and put together this piece. I think it will help a lot of people, so good work.

Re: Waxwing[otome GXB, Fantasy] Sept 15
I believe this stands fine as an otome game. Otome doesn't mean the heroine has to be slobbering throughout the whole ga-- Hmm, that sounded wrong. Let's try again. A lot of otome games don't have the romance as the focal point. I think it's fine as is! I play tons of otome for reference and some of...

Re: How To Write Totally Awesome Characters and Examples of
Well...hmm...the energy radiating from your post is amazing, but I can't say I agree with everything. You were right with a lot, but some of the examples used were cliche, and 'sides, some heroic heroes have been extremely well done. (er...note the 'some'.) The anithero bit was well-explained, but t...

Re: Worst anime you have ever watched?
Bokura ga Ita--I found the story cheap and the characters annoyed me...plus the art looked half-finished at some places. School Days--Creepy, weird, and too messed up for my tastes. (Almost laughable, though. Was Makoto so special?) Mermaid Melody (PPP)--This is just personal tastes here, but magica...

The character designs fit the theme to a T. That's great, and the story seems good, simple, yet good. I think it'll turn out to be a great work.

Re: Writing, Art, Or Coding...What Do You Find the Hardest?
I'm currently writing for a WIP game and am receiving no end of headache. Planning out different routes for each choices, planning out the routes in general...It's hard, but I wouldn't do anything else since I love writing. Even if your game has a great art and music, if your story is terrible, the ...

Re: Waxwing[otome GXB, Fantasy] Sept 13
Artwork reminds me of Elemental. This game looks absolutely fantastic, with a cute heroine and a great array of guys. I bet it'll be a monumentous success, and the story appears to be well-planned out as well.
Great!

Re: Advice for Coming Up With Character Names
It's odd, but I use a thesaurus to find equally odd synonyms for elements and such, although naming your characters things like Zephyr and Aether can only fit in certain situations. Having a simple Japanese dictionary could help, like the Kotoba app for iOS, but it's not as if your characters have t...

Re: Unpredictable story? Share you tips!
Hmm...mysteries are best when they catch you off guard. Still, too many surprises can tire out the viewer. In my case I usually outline my plots even if not down to the exact specifics, and try to give subtle clues without it being too obvious. Personally, I think it's best when you are surprised, b...

Your character designs look gorgeous. The plot seems to be a good one as well, which makes me excited for this game. Overall the art looks fantastic and personally I like the characters names a lot. Lastly, the layouts for your gallery and such also look great. Can't wait.
