Re: Nevermore

AlphaProspector: Thanks for the advice; it's good to see you lurking around. I've actually already done pretty much all the stuff you suggested. I ran my own voice recordings through audacity and brought them all to the same level. I used Audacity's noise removal tools on them, but there was a whole...

Re: Nevermore

I've altered the volume of some of the voice files for the final release (which should come soon). I hope that I've fixed the problem. Unfortunately, my own voice work for this is of irrevocably poor quality, having been recorded with a sore throat and inferior equipment. The best solution would pro...

Re: List of Games

I'll give this a shot, using Mai Mai's list. I think "<3" should be on the list, too. Am I right?

Oh, and I don't currently have my account set to view H threads, so somebody should let me know if I'm missing games from there.

Re: Nevermore

Thanks a bunch, Flamzeron!

I've uploaded version 0.4, with voicing for the father.

Re: Nevermore

Frightened, but trying not to show it. The father realizes his son could be dying the way his wife did. Hope that helps.

Re: Nevermore

Thanks for the encouragement, MaiMai. I hope people realize that the final version is going to be just like the one you can download at the top of this thread right now, except for the voices. By the way, what do you folks think of the way the story ends in the current version? I'm talking about the...

Re: Nevermore

Flamzeron has now agreed to voice the father, so I guess I'm not looking for any more help with the voicing of this project. Also, Ren'Py 6.9.3 has been upgraded to a stable release. It looks like I'll be able to put this together before starting my first year of university studies.

Re: Ren'Py 6.9.3 pre-released

I've used Ren'Py 6.9.3b a bit and haven't had any issues so far. I made an all-in-one archive and a Macintosh app for the kinetic novel "Crimson" using 6.9.3b (posted in the game's thread). Only one person has downloaded each so far, and I haven't had any feedback about how they work, but ...

Re: Crimson: A Story of Alienation

I've used Ren'Py 6.9.3b to build an all-in-one Windows/Macintosh/Linux archive and a Macintosh app for this. I'll upload them soon. Hope you don't mind, Cymark.

Peace,
Kazuki Mishima

Re: The Cute, Light, and Fluffy Project

Here are my reactions to the stories, in the order I played them: "5 Minutes": I didn't know somebody else was using those BCS backgrounds. The story's pretty zany. "My Eternal Rival": I felt like I do on the few occasions when I read a Mary Worth comic strip - like there's a sto...

Re: BTW #3

The game is out there, and barring major technical problems, once a game is released, it's unlikely to be changed. (There's no fundamental reason for this, but this seems to be the general practice in the years I've spent on the forums.) I find that when I abandon/finish a work of art (no matter ho...
