Re: Guestbook
Hi, I'm LRH. I would have been LRH Studios, but it would seem 'stud' is not allowed as part of a username? I'm a writer/artist, with some programming/coding experience, but not with python. I'm new to visual novels, and decided to jump in at the deep end by making two games at once in order to lear...

Re: Kickstarter Physical rewards
Well in regards to shipping, you can have the customers pay as long as you state that they have to pay shipping. For making hard copies of games you have several choices of how you want to do it, you could go out to the store and buy a bunch of cds/dvds depending on how much space you need. If you c...

Re: Looking for an experienced programmer [Paid]
Game looks pretty good, looking forward to the release.
Unfortunately can't really offer my services as I am not much of a python programmer (prefer c++) but definitely looking forward to seeing what you do with this.

I am happy writing any kind of scene, romance or other.
Would you like to run the idea bouncing here or via pm or another method of communication?

Re: Looking for a free writer or idea bouncer~ GxB, mystery
I'll gladly help out on the project, got a bit of writers block for one of my own projects at the moment so if you'd like someone to bounce ideas with id gladly help. I can also writer, though a bit slowly, for free if that is also needed. I am rather "new" to the VN scene and haven't rele...

Re: Feedback/Critique on Voice Acting? + (Free) VA for Hire
Thanks for the feedback guys:)) And just to clear things up, my mic is a blue snowball, which ranges up to 50-100 (depending on where it is bought) so I am hoping that it is serviceable enough for when there's no echo effect placed on it - could it be because I raised my input level too high, resul...

Re: Engine For Single-Player Pay-To-Play Game?
You could always program your own game instead of using an engine, a lot of programming languages have really easy libraries you can use for networking.
Otherwise Unity has features for adding network, so you could try that. Perhaps a bit more complex than what you where looking for, but it works

Re: Speeding Up the Production Process?
Don't cut corners, that just lowers the quality of the game. So things that you can do to keep the quality and finish the product faster. 1. Working in a team will normally speed things up as long as people do their part and actually get things done 2. Set up a bunch of deadlines that certain things...

Asset Creation: Code?
So I've been about for a while now, mostly lurking but posting about now and then.
For some reason I didn't notice before but, why don't we have an asset creation for code or programming? there is for art, writing, music, sound and movies, but none for coding?

Re: Visuals-based VN engines
Well if you can convince the right programmer, it wouldn't be too hard to make one. VN engines are probably the easiest kind of engine to build as they don't have to rely on any sort of optimization, at least for most, there are of course exceptions to this rule but if your going to build something ...

Re: Feedback/Critique on Voice Acting? + (Free) VA for Hire
A few quick questions for you about jobs you might want, What kind of genre would you most prefer doing? What kind of character age range do you think you would be able to do? Are there any specific topics you are not willing to do other than the ones posted in your original post? If by genre you m...
