Re: Jisei (Supernatural Mystery VN)

You know full well what I think of this one, but I thought I ought to give my official "Looking forward to it!" post now that you have a thread made. I honestly am looking forward to see how the whole thing will come together in the end, especially since it is so well put together right no...

Re: 'Nice Day' - short kinetic novel

This was a charming little piece. I quite enjoyed the time I spent with it... for really short stories to get a stronger emotional response is a talent, and I hope you put it to good use in future projects. I have to confess I got a little annoyed with the pauses too, but because I'd always have to ...

Re: [Nanoreno 2010] Fuyu no Tabi

I wrote up a post discussing the "fairness" of Fuyu's mystery on my blog here: http://drake.bishojo.tk/?p=227 [ Edit: Yes, this used to just link to the front page, but it's no longer the topmost post. Just be cautious if you haven't read it, it's super-spoilery. ] I'm pretty surprised the...

This is not a visual novel. This is an animation sequence done entirely in Ren'Py with the framework of a visual novel to give it justification for release. All the same, enjoy. Okay, let's do that again a little more seriously. This is a very short visual novel I made, based off of an old Nanoreno ...

Re: Fading Hearts Released!

I'm glad the demo was put up so quickly. I was wondering if I'd get a chance to try this or not. Even after my run in with Parallel that I really didn't come away with satisfied, I kept my hopes up a little for Fading Hearts proper. However, there was just no way I could commit to that price tag wit...

Re: [WIP] Folio Verso

Just Wow. I'm impressed. Really. Rather quite excited about this... Both trailer and demo were very very well done, and I'm glad to find something I can really get excited about. I can't seem to find anything else to say except the best of luck with this. Honestly. I have high hopes here.

Re: Yuki no Imouto

You don't really~ have to bother... it's only about 300 words in length... So there really isn't much there to screencap anyway... It'd only take you two minutes.

Limitations: - Any special commands that pass text and display from that function (for example, Sharin no Kuni's double/triple/fourfold commands do not have wrapping since what goes through here is an expression and not text) Basically, anything that uses [emb] to display text. As timely as this co...

Re: Koenchu Yonogi Seiyu Story prologue

By "Radio" there's an option to listen to, well, the radio, at the end of every week. It's really just a little UI window with a Play/Stop button that'll start a prerecorded audio stream that simulates live radio ( with DJ-ing and everything ), but best of luck getting the most out of most...

Re: Koenchu Yonogi Seiyu Story prologue

Congrats on your demo release, shirow! I've been looking forward to this, so I pounced on the chance to play it. It is actually really nicely done and I found the whole demo to be very entertaining. There's a great deal put into the general UI stuff too ( but if that History Window isn't a disappoin...

Re: The Stolen Diamond Ring - a mystery visual novel

I finished this just a few moments ago, and it is a great little gem. I have to second the dialogue. It has this flair to it which is really hard to come by sometimes. Even if the mystery itself isn't too difficult, it still is a really entertaining piece. Maybe making it not-so-difficult is a good ...

Re: [The Dreaming] v0.9 (windows only)

I have to admit, this one hooked me in pretty quickly. And I definitely like it. But I'm having trouble figuring out how much I like it... mostly because I'm growing increasingly frustrated over hunting down the true ending, the only one I haven't gotten to yet... Here's hoping for a few solid hints...

Re: The perfect mystery

Umineko no Naku Koro ni would easily answer what is the perfect mystery vn. That said, a vn adaptation of John Dickson Carr's Three Coffins (alternatively titled The Hollow Man ) would be just as awesome. As for as the EVN scene goes, Each Uisge is pretty amazing. If you have the stomach for adult s...

Re: Songs of Araiah

I'm actually not in the least surprised this came up... It's actually one of the bigger questions I thought on for a while myself when considering her immortality, back when I still had delusions of sequels featuring all the crap everyone's asking for: epic battles against Hanasia, lovey dovey mushy...
