Re: Soul and Heart: Replay [Mystery & Dystopia] - DEMO 0.5

....... I hate missing updates.

A little feedback on Maria here: Her belt seems a little too low. It almost looks like it's around her pelvis instead of her waist or above her hips. I don't know if it is just too low in general or the way her clothes fall but it just seems... off.

Re: When the Bells Toll [Mystery, Psychological-Thriller]

I had a feeling this has some Higurashi inspiration but I didn't want to say anything in case I was mistaken. But since it's been said and I kinda have a massive affinity for the original games and anime: This thread, I will be watching it. The amount of effort you are putting into this alone is eno...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

WARNING: petty selfish post ahead. (By some definitions anyway.) After a few recent events I am considering moving away from here as quickly as possible. I have come to the conclusion that all of the benefits that come with my current lot in life are not worth it when I regularly become depressed, g...

Re: You guys in Boston!

I've been retweeting info and links since I saw this, looking into it more now.

I know some people here have to be near or in Boston so if you are: I'm hoping this is kept under control and that everyone is as safe as possible.

Re: How would you define your personality?

((Note that I am working from the profiles at www.16personalities.com/ and not from the other site listed here. This is where I took my last test before this and I wanted to stay as close as possible to past results... and they were interesting.) There is a major problem with the Jung Typology Tests...

Re: Artist opening for commission

Runic is right. It only SEEMS expensive in comparison to the cheap prices of most online commissions. Honestly? Most people selling art online massively undercharge in comparison to what people ask offline (partly to seem not expensive, partly because that is what the competition looks like, and par...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

The thing with media is that all of it, even documentaries that are "true to life" are largely escapist. We don't want to admit that things happen in the world so we make a thin attempt at it on film, on paper, on zeroes and ones and no matter how true to life it is we indulge in it becaus...

Re: Addictive TV Series?

I used to watch Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes whenever it was on... until Disney XD decided to cancel it and replace it with a show that would fit the continuity and humor of Ultimate Spiderman... was not happy. On the other side of the spectrum, while I don't like most "reality TV" o...

Re: Soul and Heart: Replay [Mystery & Dystopia] - DEMO 0.5

I think keeping the skirt longer is good for a few reasons, one being the one you mentioned and another being military uniforms are just conservative in general (unless you look at anime, in that case they cover... almost nothing sometimes, which looks nice sometimes but can be impractical). Persona...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I have a problem. It's not a real problem, per say, but it's an annoying one and it involves my laptop. More specifically: I panic every single time I do anything new on it. Not a full on panic attack, I know what those are like, but my head fills with thoughts of dread and I can't do anything and I...

Re: Skylines: A Personal Memoir [BxBG/Awkward Teens]

I looked at this at first and thought "hmn, ok, looks like a simple high school story with a Manic Pixie Dream Girl type character, I might enjoy this". And then I read everything from the bios down, including your response. NOW you have my attention. You've been working on this for years,...

Re: Assess K [Mystery, Slice-of-Life]

You had me at "college age", features list, and the art. I'm wondering what the story for this is going to be and from what I see in the screenshots the art is going to be unique and interesting to look at. It sucks that you had trouble before showing this, though... I hope you manage to h...

Re: Tricross [Fantasy.Action.Adventure.GxB] [Updated 10/04]

I can't say much about the style (I'm a horrible judge when they are sketchy like this), but I would like to say I REALLY like the way the first design looks. It's simple layers but a layered look is enough to be interesting even if they're two flat colors. I like how her eyes look as well, very det...

Re: The Rain Factory [Cyberpunk] [Episodic] [Western Art]

I think LWR is onto something with their suggestions too, I'd like to see what you do with them. I'm loving this concept art but my experience with cyberpunk is in passing so all I can really say is "this looks awesome".

I really like the way the flat colors look, they just look good together as a whole.

As for the sketch on the right, I think I recognize that bunny. *stares at your signature*
