I've never use Novelty (honestly to me it's quite hard) but I believe it's almost the same concept. You can just have one image and use it all over again anytime, in condition you code it. The GUI looks very nice, fitting with the game theme! I agree with the others, the colors are nice to see. You've been doing well on coloring the CGs too, I like their expressions, you can just look at them to know their mood.
