... It's not *that* surprising, considering I did Charm School well over a year ago now. Time for another try. I've gotten better. :) More RPG focused than child-raising. You *are* the character, not a parent nurturing the character (The poor girl's an orphan, see!) and you have from your 18th birth...

In Honor Of Princess Maker 4...

... which we can't play, some screenshots of the project I'm puttering around with. :) As usual, engines are easy, finishing the game is hard, do not expect this ANY time soon (although at least I'm doing most of this art myself so it won't be as much in limbo as SS!) http://irc.wgp.org/users/papill...

Sounds like an interesting story idea. I'm not a huge BL fan, but I'm not against it either. (I read some slash fiction, and I like looking at pictures of pretty boys posing together, but I've never had any urge to check out actual manga/anime of the stuff.) Will look forward to seeing it!

I think the dragon's gold was based on charisma, not breast size - although he does *comment* on your breast size, and may refuse to give you anything if they're too small for his liking... But the actual amount was most like 10*Charisma, I think. Been a while. For some reason, breast size has never...

... and they have such lovely dolls of Saber, too... for those of us freaks who browse japanese auction sites looking for things that can't be found here. :)

She comes with sword and big gauntlets!

Because I can never have too many projects underway... another game whose plot I have very little idea about, but for which I have designed a handful of characters... Here's one of them, and this game may get a little bit naughty. :)

I don't know if it counts as ren'ai, but the fact that the Utena game is both on an obscure system that I don't own AND is not in English drives me nuts. :)

... why?

Since that's only been publically released for a week or so, it's not like you're an expert in it. Nor, I suspect, have you developed a renai engine with it. Whereas there are several fully-developed ones already available.... :)

It's *almost* complete. The problem is that a few of the endings are missing. So you get all the way to the end and then you get a "Error - cannot find WERWKLY.TXT" type message and miss out on the description of what happens to you. Slight letdown. Also, some of the vacation pictures have...

You don't have to register to compile the games. You have to register to remove the "Made With Game Maker" screen and to use certain functions. It's complicated because you can make ALL KINDS of games with it... even (very laggy) RTSes. :) Generally requires some programming knowledge to g...

Bribe my background artist. :) Sadly, the game is mostly waiting on him at this point.... and he's less than halfway done, and I'm lucky if I hear from him every two weeks. This is sort of a problem. I, on the other hand, have been sitting around in a bad mood and slowly creating more and more art f...

Just because someone takes something and puts it on the web does NOT mean they have the right to it! If you didn't get permission from the person who created it or their agent, then you aren't allowed to use it. Whether you will actually get in trouble for it is another matter. The answer is general...

Lack of skipping features and convenient save/load definitely stops me from going for more than one ending, even in games I really like... it's just too annoying to stomach going through it all again, so I put the game aside for a few months (or years) until I have forgotten it enough to be able to ...

Keeping choices to a minimum? Actually, that's what *kills* me with some japanese games... long stretches of time with nothing for me to do! I'm a fast reader, but I get worn out reading passage after passage in a tiny text box with nothing to do but click, click, click while my hand tires... the tr...

I've set mine so that any of the 'standard' advancement methods - space, enter, or left click on text - will jump immediately out of backlog and to the 'current' display. Since I already have three standard advance keys, I think the user should be able to find SOMETHING they're happy with without ma...
