The "amateurness" of your coding style depends on what you're coding, but keep in mind that people who are playing your game don't know what your code looks like. If you still want help, I can take a look at what you're doing. You can replace the dialogue with random text if you want.

I kind of made a conversation-based game. I didn't have any experience with natural language processing or text processing, so my project did not turn out well. It mainly used if statements to control where to go.
