Quick notes while playing: - I presume the stylistic choice of lowercase letters over the red moon and the All Words Capitalized in the last sentence of the opening sequence will eventually mean something. - The switch from the philosophical tone of voice set in the opening sequence to the normal ev...

I'm not sure if this would be of any help, but have you looked at the files in the Australian Creative Resource Online ? They have some free Shakuhachi melodies (scroll down to the bottom of the list) available, licensed under Creative Commons, which only requires you to give attribution to the orig...

This just struck me, but was what happened during "the last year of high school" for Her ever explained? I know you had to take two different paths to understand the family situation, and another to see the plotline of the actual story, and I can't remember very clearly, but I *think* ther...

But don't worry, there will be more fan-oriented VNs coming out soon, but more likely large-scale team efforts. Actually, even though I'm a fanfiction author, I don't particularly like the idea of anime-based VNs. I would prefer completely original works, I think. Maybe it's because VNs come a bit ...

The idea behind this was to give the look of something that was subtitled. I picked the font, which is just Arial, surrounded by a border. This appears to be a popular font with fansubbers, which I why I chose it. To further the subtitle look of things, I changed the text layout algorithm. The usua...

No, I'm not an artist (I'm a writer), but my brother is, so I do have some understanding of how difficult it might be. I wasn't aware there was a deadline, though. Now that I know about that, it seems easier to overlook certain things. :)

In every narrative, there must be an initial state, a change to that initial state, a quest to remove/remediate the effects of that change, and finally a new state reached in the conclusion, which should be different from the initial state (or the same, if you're going for a specific plot angle). A...

Well, I just finished O3. (Darn, I can't get the superscript key combo to work) Overall To be honest, I share many of the same feelings as that Guest who posted the really long commentary in spoiler tags some pages back. There are things to be praised about O3, especially the artwork and layout, and...

Do you know what that means? You probably understood MetBlues, or rather, my intentions with it. Or you were just being lucky ^_^ Anyway, try to unlock all endings for an additional little bonus in the Omake section, accessible by the True Ending. (I hope you didn't know that already - even one Goo...

I know this is very late, but seeing as I have just come across Ren'ai games a month ago and only just played through Metropolitan Blues now, I thought it was worth it. I registered on these forums just to leave my comments on this particular piece of work. Overall I loved this. After suffering thro...
