Personally, I keep a list of visual novels that are under the creative commons off site. (So far 27, as of August 18 2014.) Most of them are consist of Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License . Few of the visual novels that are under the category doesn't seem to fit in the criteria...
