Re: When a Writer Can't Write
Ugh, Writer's Block :x I have a couple things that I do. 1. I'll just write a different scene, something I do have an idea on or am excited about, just to keep writing. Sometimes I use these scenes and sometimes I don't, but it keeps me writing on the story. Or I do research for something I know I'l...

Re: Rising Angels (Wolfgirl x Plot)
Cost? While I'd love to make some money to repair the horrible damage this game is doing to my wallet (I think we are up to $5,000 with an expected 10k more to go because CGs are expensive as heck), my policy has been to always release my games for free. Nobody will pay a dime as long as I'm headin...

Re: Bad naming skills..... *cries*
I tend to surf the heck out of baby naming sites for a start, if my characters are human... then I mix things around, if needed. Sometimes I go with Rinkworks' Fantasy Name Generator for a start and pick bits that sound nice to mash together, too. I do this too. Although I use Serendipity instead. ...

Re: Best Anime Ever Watched?
This was actually easy for me. Death Note - is my all time favorite. Hands down. It makes eating potato chips intense. And I can, with little doubt, call it the best anime. At least in my opinion. But I do have a short list of close seconds: Samurai X - has it all, action, drama, romance and great a...

Re: Who/What influenced your style of drawing?
My first BIG influence was George Perez. He drew the New Teen Titans, Wonder Woman and the Avengers to name but a few. I would sit there and try to redraw his panels for hours. He is the reason I wanted to learn to draw. I am going to meet him in August at the Chicago Comic Con and just thinking abo...

Re: Do you make GxB, BxG, BxB, or GxG? Why?
I've played like a few otome games from Japan and the house was full of my never ending cries of "WHYYYY would she want to go out with this pervert?!?!" "WHYYYY can I only act like a doormat?!?!?" "WHHHHYYYY is this so rapey!?!?!" among other things. lol. I just though...

Re: The argument against Generic Games
A good visual novel doesn't only have to rely on text; it can tell you a whole damn lot about the environment and characters just by showing pictures. Whether that be emotions of characters or a certain atmosphere the backgrounds and music bring with them. Judge the package as a whole, the way it w...

Re: How to deal with pesky loose ends?
It depends on how important parents are to your story. If you want them in then write them in. Have a sprite for mom with a few expressions and a sprite for dad with a few expressions and go to town. Now if it is sprite constraints that have you wondering what to do about the parents, then you can a...

Re: Should the player character always be the most important
My question is, would people play a game where the character they're playing as isn't the leader, and has to follow orders (with their choice on how they want to execute the orders, and possibly to pass the mission to someone else instead). This is kind of what Shepard in the ME series does, isn't ...

Re: Why do you make Visual Novels?
I ran into Visual Novels early this last spring, so I'm fairly new to the whole scene. I was up late, bored and couldn't sleep and stumbled on Frozen Essence and the Fantasia series, and was hooked...bad. I bought Yo-Jin-Bo (and a few others) and found Lemma Soft forum. I'm here waiting on several W...

Re: Sprite Question
out of topic but... I just can't help but be bothered about the 2nd img. "Ah, beesubooru"? Is that an official translation? A fan-translation? or just a joke for humanity? It was supposed to be "Ah, baseball" My guess would be that it was rewritten in romanji. It looks like gibb...
