Re: Worst anime you have ever watched?
Hey, you forgot that there was yuri involved!
Well, not exactly in Sky girls, but in Strike Witches, it was blatant.

I bid you a safe journey then Mikey. You've been a great VN maker and I understand that circumstances in life are so that you change eventually. I will read your VNs eagerly and archive them for future generations :D I also hope you to come and read what the VN makers communities produce from time t...

Re: Yu Yu Hakusho
Ah the joy of local adaptation :D Sadly, Yuu yuu Hakusho never made it on TV back then in my country. Most people rediscovered the series about four years later, when the huge anime and manga trend hit in 1997. I just remembered that their hairstyles made me think about the Beehives from Ai Shite Kn...

Re: Dub or Sub?
Dub quality depends highly on the budget the local producer wants to spare to each TV episode. For instance, the best dub quality I've ever heard comes from Disney productions. In France, Ghibli's movies are dubbed by Disney in french and they sound great, they have their own interpretation, but the...

Re: Worst anime you have ever watched?
Vampire Hunter D. I think it was the lamest way to describe a post-apocalyptic world, filled with neo-gothic creatures, with a teaspoon of pseudo-western.
The pace was slow, the music horrible, the story able to generate 3 facepalms per minute.

Re: Currently Airing Anime
No. 6 and usagi drop are women oriented, since the first is boys love and the second family drama. But I'm not saying they're bad, on the contrary, they both have a great story. Thing is, N°6 doesn't hit all the buttons about its universe integrity, so for a SF show, it's kinda hard for me to contin...

Re: Currently Airing Anime
Currently watching Nekogami Yaoyozaru, Bakatest 2, the Idolm@ster and Hanasaku Iroha. But I'm not really fond of these... It's just that I have nothing to watch until september. There are going to be lots of interesting shows like: Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Mashiroiro symphony Working!! And in wi...

There are lots of great ideas, thank you everyone for your insights! And Tom, you amaze me, you're a king of diets ^^ Unfortunately, I don't have any kendo school in my immediate vincinity, so I went for the wu shu instead. I've begun to cut on the sugary things, I mean, I've limited myself to small...

Re: About diets...
Se-seven kg?! Wah! (O.O) What kind of spartan life do you have? Like, eat tree leaves? XD I mean, this is just awesome. And in three weeks? I guess it's time to hit the road, running and all. I've just calculated that I had to run 577 kilometers to lose these 6kg... Without eating nor drinking, of c...

About diets...
To make a change, let's talk about how to lose weight. Being the kinda guy who sits around all day, due to both work and hobbies, I've starting to build what you would call lovingly a "life-buoy". Not that I have anything against life-buoys in general. In fact, I kinda like them because th...

Re: Using Japanese honorifics, etc.
I think honorifics are not suited to english. To be true, any professional translator would say that the text would look like a half translated text. I remember about a fansub one day where they left the honorifics or terms in japanese and then added a small explanation. It sounded lame. Please note...
