How do you manage testing / demos?
So I'm working on several projects right now, one of which I'm at the stage of showing very very early demos to my friends for a 'confidence check', so to speak. But sooner or later, I'll plan on releasing an alpha demo, and then a beta, before actually releasing a project for real. How do you guys ...

Re: Amorphous's Art Thread
I love the shading, though there's still room for improvement. When you shade it appears that you saturate the color with black resulting in a darker tone of the color as well as the composition of the picture now has a cool feeling to it. I haven't seen much of your art other than for this sprite ...

Re: NanoReno - 2013
I'm in for this, been wanting to do this for quite some time, good excuse as any to start working on a (first) visual novel. I've got a team kinda sorta put together, but I'm entirely willing to do everything myself if I have to...it's fun to be able to control everything, in some sense. I have a ba...

Re: Need a little help with site loading
It probably means that the site you're accessing is using some code library from google to enhance the website, and most likely an outdated version. From my experience, it's probably jQuery, but it doesn't have to be. jQuery is a Javascript library that is commonly used on websites to make things pr...

Re: Getting rid of Artblock?
I keep around an extra sketchbook mainly for quick doodles and whatnot, and I've found that that helps a lot. Whenever I lose motivation, I just bring that sketchbook with me (usually to school) and start drawing random things that come to mind, no matter if they have anything to do with anything. I...

Re: Selling download of a game via PayPal?
Don't know if this is exactly the right place to put this, but seeing as we're discussing payment methods: 1. What exactly is this 'affiliates' thing that makes BMT attractive? As in, how does it work, how does it help, that kind of thing. 2. Anybody ever hear about / try to use Gumroad to sell work...

Re: What should I really improve ?
Watch your perspective, most of your pictures seem to have body parts that are rotated in odd directions compared to other body parts, such as the 2nd portrait's left (his left) eye, and his mouth, the 2nd to last picture's head, chest, shoulder alignment (and spine rotation), and the last one's hea...

Re: My first VN. Tips and pointers?
For your first one keep it small keep it small keep it small keep it small keep it small! ;) This. Entirely. The first game doesn't need to be a masterpiece, and it'll be a lot more rewarding if it is finished - which (usually) won't happen if you try to make a massive epic on your first tackle. I ...

Re: Amorphous's Art Thread
And yet another month has gone by. Probably just me switching too much between art and music and programming to be healthy. Took the rough design of the guy from the previous post, made a whole body sprite for him along the way - although I did manage to change his face / hair quite a bit. Also gave...

Re: What kind of puzzles do you like in your Adventure games
I like most puzzles, even those of the 'tear your hair out in frustration' variety. Short of some pixel-hunting point and click puzzles (even those I play sometimes), I'll enjoy practically every kind of puzzle, or at least, I haven't had many complaints about the puzzles I have seen in the past. Wh...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
So I have this pretty bad internet social-anxiety thing, possibly stemming from my paranoid tendencies. In person, I'm pretty talkative when I want to be, but you put me in front of a computer and give me a forum, and I suddenly can't say anything. I think too much about all the words, worry about o...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
I walked about 5 blocks today and passed probably 7 smokers. It's crazy. You can't even go anywhere anymore without having to muck your way through everyone's cancer fog. I hate the smell of smoke. My place's pretty strict with it, but it's still a problem. School's better, 'cause of the who...

Re: "Sonder" Looking for Artists, Musicians (Unpaid)
Project does seem very interesting, if you still need help, I'm interested in doing so. I'm willing to be either an artist or a musician, but not both at the same time. Art can be found on my dA: http://beast-amorphous.deviantart.com/ - although some of it is several years out of date. Music (and so...

I think I'm just echoing a lot of other people here, but the art is really wonderful. Can't wait to see what will come out of this.
Also, I really like the font that you guys used for the character's names; mind telling me the name of that font?
