I just played through this and have to say I loved it so much :) I got the con amore route first and if I remember correctly I started crying when they talked about her father in the rain and I guess I didn't really stop till the end... And even then, after this ending I longed for more... And more ...

Hm, about what code exactly does it say month is not defined? Could you post that here? I'm not sure about the thing with the init block... You should probably put the code at the point in your game where you first want to show the month (So i guess at the start) - but I guess you want it to change ...

Try defining the months as $ month = 'August' (And of course, check wether month == 'August' as well.) I think that should do the trick. As I understand it, renpy doesn't really know what August is supposed to be. If you put it the way I did, it is just a string which you store in the variable month...
