Howdy. Sven the Viking here, introducing myself.

A bit about me:
I'm a writer, currently working with Ren'Py after deciding to put my own VN engine on hold due to migraine-inducing problems I was having getting it coded properly. I write plot, script, and story, I code, and I do music (well, I try to, at least). About the only thing I don't do is graphics, as I've spent most of my time over the years working on the three aforementioned skills, and my ability to draw is somewhat lacking.

I am also the head (and only member) of DigitalHaven Studios, the game development team of DigitalHaven Software, the software development wing of the DigitalHaven Group (my naming scheme is vaguely reminiscent of Bad Company). If you're looking to join a development team for a VN, send me a PM and I'll give you the heads-up on joining DigitalHaven Studios. That way, you can decide for yourself if it's the kind of thing you want to get into.

I'm Emi/Persium/whatever you want to call me.

I'm a 19yr old hobbyist artist who would have been a composer buuuut I can't focus on just one thing very well... which is why I write and RP and do random artsy stuff too. I'm best at drawing between all my hobbies... but not good enough for professional art, don't particularly want to make it a career and anime art is not very useful in America anyway lol.

I joined a few years ago, have like 4 posts from then, but I come back because I had a... really, really common idea for some pre-existing characters of mine lmao OTL. "school of the GIFTED" type thing, you know. :/ but as my friend says, it's what you do with the idea that counts. I think the characters are my strong point here haha.
I'm here more or less to try and find a programmer to help me out here and there, unless they want to program everything, I would be okay with that too lol. I showed someone my ideas and he was like "this is really thought out" but I don't have enough pictures for an info post or anything like it, nor do I want to post if I can't pull it all off...

(I'm also really shy on new forums and terrified of posting in case I annoy someone or break some unspoken rule or something... SO if I don't post after this that's why.)

Welcome guys~ :D

Whether you're here as a prospective artist, writer, composer, programmer, or even a voice actor, I really hope you'll enjoy your stay here~

@persium, I say you don't have to worry about those 'unspoken rules' here, it's a pretty cool community :D Don't be afraid of annoying someone either, we're always happy (or at the very least I am) to have someone contribute ^^

I downloaded Ren'py a few days ago and created a tiny little game that I immediately scrapped. The story was about a US otaku who winds up in Japan not knowing the language and can't get back home unless he has a decent Japanese conversation with the girl that he likes. Sort of part dating sim, part Rosetta Stone. I say that I scrapped it, but I still have a tiny copy of it somewhere if anyone's interested. The reason I stopped making it is that I want to take it farther. My goal is to have people being able to at least understand their favorite anime after winning it. I could use a lot of help with it, so maybe anyone willing to help?

BTW, I love the software and I hope to learn a lot from you all.

I just registered a few minutes ago, though I've been stalking this forum for a while now. Hello. o/

So, I'm bunnypirates. I'm a 19 years old weirdo person from Finland and I'm trying my best to improve my artistic skills. I've always wanted to be an artist, and I'm also interested in the (artistic side of) gaming industry. I like semi-realism and digital art and I'm also slowly trying to learn little more about 3D modelling.

I speak Finnish and English and little (I mean VERY little xD...) Swedish. I've studied French for two years in the past but let's not get into that. 8'D

I have been on deviantArt but my account was completely abandoned because 95% of the community was like you were watching pink glitter ponies smoking weed. Then I found Tumblr and we ran away together. http://itsbunnypirates.tumblr.com/

tl;dr - Hi, nice to meet you all. (•‿•)

Oh, and happy New Year! *O*

Not really checking the forums any more due to time constraints, so if you want to contact me, PM. I'll get a notification and log in.
Also, I've been hit and run posting, which means I don't see many replies. If you want to respond to something I've said, also feel free to PM me.

NOTE: if you've got questions about vnovel or things like that, it's Leon that you should be contacting. Leon's been pretty much handling everything, but due to various reasons, I've had to withdraw entirely.

I've been on this forum for a long while, however my old account disappeared into dust when I forgot my old email. Nice to be back, and hopefully I can keep my motivation up this time.

Oh silly me I got excited and didn't post here! Such folly.

I'm Mo! I'm a computer engineering major, so I very much enjoy technical things like coding, even if I'm not too good with Renpy - working on it though! I'd say I'm best at using C because I'm a low-level nut. I made one Renpy game before (http://www.renai.us/game/welcome-to-ukraine.shtml) but it was more or less just something I whipped together in 3 days and is very, very stupid.

Glad to be on here, and I hope to stay! : D

Hello, I've been an unregistered ninja on this forum for several months now and finally decided to register for an account. I'm currently 17, enrolled in a course called Animation and 3D Arts, but really I'm more interested in drawing still illustrations. My original drawings aren't really good, but I'm trying to improve by practicing.

I'm more of the artist type of person, but I also like thinking of story ideas, mostly before i sleep or while walking long distances. Its nice to finally meet everyone. :>

Hi! I'm brand new to this site and the VN community in general and I wanted to make a little introduction. Normally I'd lurk for a little while but I figured I'd get stuck right in here.

So then... I'm a "writer" (read: talentless hack) who's interested in making a visual novel. That's about it. I can't wait to get involved in this community :)

THANKS BYE NOW I LOVE YOU BYE
