Dunno... but there are certainly lots of us here. Maybe 4-5 from the regulars.

I can attest to moonlight bomber being a long-time lurker here. Just read his blog.
How do you make your games? I see. Thank you for the prompt replies, but it is my considered opinion that you're doing it wrong inefficiently because I am a perfushenal professional. Do it my way this way and we can all ascend VN Nirvana together while allowing me to stroke my ego you will improve much faster. Also, please don't forget to thank me for this constructive critique or I will cry and bore you to death respond appropriately with a tl;dr rant discourse of epic adequately lengthy proportions. - Sarcasm Veiled in Euphemism: Secrets of Forum Civility by lordcloudx (Coming soon to an online ebook near you.)

Please excuse my chosen nickname since I picked it without thinking. Hello, my name is Alfredo and I'm from the Philippines. I first stumbled on this place quite a while ago thru several bookmarks on John's laptop (or mugenjohncel as he is known here) all leading to this forum.

I will admit the fact that the only reason why I lurk here is to see what's John up to and for the LUL'z and the way he acts like a pervert here is suprisingly in contrast with his real-life which can be ridiculously funny if you know him personally.

It's been only 8 months (at least that's how I remember it) since I started lurking here but thats long enough for me to know that this forum is for people who loved Visual Novels and people who wanted to create one and I only recently understand what ren'py is and as far as I know it's a program that will enable you to create Visual Novels. John once mentioned to me that he once created a small one using ren'py to celebrate the partial success of his operation and to test his thumb but I haven't seen it nor do I have any idea where in the laptop is it hidden (I suspect it was somewhere in his other computer upstairs).

Maybe I too should try using this ren'py thing but Photoshop is probably the most complex thing I have ever used on a computer and ren'py (is it an acronym?) may be a bit too much for me.

John will definitelly read this once he gets over with it so I'll say it here since my part-time job is to be a nuisance to his daily life and by the time he reads his he'll probably be back to his senses a bit.

JOHN, YOUR HOUSE IS MY PLAYGROUND NOW. I WILL DEVOUR EVERYTHING IN YOUR REF, I'LL PEE IN YOUR COUCH WHENEVER I FEEL LIKE HAVING A WET DREAM WHILE THE AIRCON IS TURNED ON, YOU ARE A BIG FAN OF BON JOVI AND SAILORMOON, YOU HAVE CP ON YOUR LAPTOP, I WILL SURF THE NET USING YOUR CONNECTION AND YOUR LAPTOP TILL MORNING AND TROLL ON 4CHAN WHILE DOWNLOADING GIGS OF PORN TO CLUTTER YOUR HARDDISK ON TOP OF YOUR ALREADY HUGE COLLECTION. AND I'LL CONTINUE TO DO SO UNTIL YOU GET IT OVER WITH.

Pareng John, you now know she's gone and I may sound a bit harsh here but dammit get it over with. So many people are depending on you. Your employees, us your friends, your barkadas. You'll probably think I have something against you. Actually yes I do have something against you and I'm angry, angry at you not because you punched me in the face earlier for telling the harsh truth about Cecilia but by seeing you act like a pathetic limp dick. You've been shouting I wish you died back repeatedly over and over like a broken recorder there well FUCK you could, that can be arranged, then I'll inherit all the goodies in your house. DAMMIT you lost your right leg FINE! It's gone and it's never coming back. I say get a peg. You still have your eyesight intact, Your face is still er - handsome (well, not as handsome as me - I'm married and scored twice, I pressume you still haven't scored yet). Your ridiculously long hair is still intact and the three most important fingers used in drawing are still there. It's not like the end of the world.

John, sorry for being insensitive, I apologize for being a jerk and a pathetic friend earlier. She's gone and were all sad maybe not as sad as you but were still sad. It's an accident, it's not your fault no one is blaming you. You on the other hand has the devil's luck. You're still alive and kicking after all that and to think that you were inside that gnarled piece of wreckage and still be alive, you definitely are one lucky bastard to be even alive.

OK, I promise I will take care of your house and clean up the mess we did earlier but in return I want my old friend back then I'll be more than happy to get my butt kicked out of your house. Sorry, I don't think I could say these things to you personally. I am a coward and I don't think I have the courage.

I guess I should post here?

Name: Camaron
Location: Western US
Website: http://gaogao.newsit.es
Other site that actually has content: http://deathstrawberry.deviantart.com
Comments: I like this forum, people seem generally helpful and nice~

About: I'm like two steps away from being a hikikomori, oh well. I'm working on a visual novel that is loosely based on a dream I had a while ago, but I'm going to wait until I have more of it completed before I say more than that. I'm not even sure if it will be long enough to be called a novel.
I would volunteer to draw for someone who needed it, but I work very very slowly and am easily discouraged for months on end with below average results, so I'm probably not the best person to ask.
On the other hand, if you need female voice acting, I'm willing to attempt that. I don't have any samples or anything yet, though.
Sorry for the overly long introduction from someone who probably will/has done more lurking than posting.

Nyuu... I've been lurking here for about a week, reading everyone's posts, so I suppose I better introduce myself properly. :3

Well, I'm hopelessly obsessed with anime. My favorites are Rozen Maiden, Love Hina, Ai Yori Aoshi, Manabi Straight, Lucky Star, Sky Girls, and alot of others. ^_^ I haven't played that many visual novels, except doujin works like Narcissu and A Midsummer's Resonance. I've actually seen Papillion around in another message board... Wow, talk about a small world afterall. :3 I'm always trying to program and draw fun things, so I'll see you guys around. :3

Name, location, website, comments about Lemma Soft, etc. - The usual!

I've been lurking here for quite a while, and decided that I should at least leave a comment. :3
I'm in the USA, being American. x3 My website is http://emmyriceball.wordpress.com/ and it's a blog. :3 But I swear this isn't a shameless plug or anything!
I found Lemmasoft through wikipedia, somehow. I can't really recall how, but I did. I've been interested in VNs for quite some time, and was thrilled to find a website like this. I even hope to make one myself, one day. I've already made a really short practice game, so I'll probably give making a better one a try. :3 So, I finally decided that I should register here, but for some reason it won't let me. When I try to, it gives an error. So in the meantime I'll probably just lurk some more.

Kekekeke, a lurker here myself, I would think people would be a little curious to know who t3h Dizzy is whenever I post. =3

The name is Dizzy Gear. I'm a writer and can come up with an infinite amount of plot ideas through sheer bordom. xD At the moment, I live in Italy, though I am american (though I do not like that fact.) I used to have a website myself, but it failed a long time ago, so it is just an empty shell. I had played through your first demo, and was quite impressed with how you did everything. It was funny, also. =3 Your art style is very fun to look at, too.

I'm also here because Seung Park, of Insani, told me that ren'py was one of the many good visual novel engine to use when starting on a new project. =3 Me and my friend Zevuel are now in the process of creating characters, storyboard, and image concepts for our first game. I'm also getting him to work on a few background and character images for the demo that I want to release before December, to show what kind of writing style we use, and how we implement our storylines. =3

I don't know if you got my email, but I tried to mail the error to you whenever I could not register for quite a few days. It is an SQL error, which I've no idea is. I've never worked with that language before.

That is what the error says, though. *nodnod*

That's the same error it gives me.

x3 I've been to Italy, myself. It's a cool place, with lots of gelato stands. :3

Strange, that sounds like an error on the backend. Any ideas, PyTom?

The database was full of old sessions. I deleted a bunch, let's see if that helps.

I have until December to have my written thesis, and then until 1st of March to have all the artwork done and at least a demo of the game, so I can show the examinators how the artwork looks on screen. The objective of my proyect, as an illustrator, is to make the artwork, not the actual game... but I still want to do it =3
So I'm not worrying much for now. I'll stick to research for the moment and I'll be lurking around to learn more about ren'py.
Thanks for asking ^^
