Hey, there I'm Rese! I accidentally found this website and after browsing the forums I feel like I belong here. I like playing dating sim games. I especially love the Harvest Moon series. Friends of Mineral Town is basically my childhood! I had thoughts being in a game project but never really got to do anything about it since I got overwhelmed with questions and insecurities like where do I even start, how do I do stuff or am I even good enough to be in a project? I have to start somewhere and posting here seems like a good way to start. I suck at writing and I don't know anything about programming but I can draw. You'll be seeing me more in the art section ^^

I've been lurking here for a while, played a lot of visual novels and stuff for the past... three-four years or so.

As a result of me just playing them, I've been hoping to post some art and possible sprite resources that I've made over the past so that other people can make some nice VNs with them. I want to make VNs and have tried, but I suck too much at the writing part and finishing things, though I have gotten close three times. Not only that, I'm very terrible at finding free resource backgrounds and background music and coming up with good, solid premises, haha...

Anyway, enough whining from me, it's nice to make your acquaintance everyone!!

I came across this site after looking up a VN that I recently finished (One Thousand Lies) and it looked interesting, especially since I'd actually started using Renpy a little while before this, so, I decided to sign up, I suppose!

Errr, I'm not very interesting so it's kind of difficult to think of things to say here (plus I always get weirdly nervous when introducing myself) but..
I'm an artist, I suppose, and I enjoy writing too ^^ So I think it would be fun to create my own visual novel one day, but for now, I'm not working on anything.

My favorite genres are speculative fiction and dark romance. I call myself a writer, but ‘storyteller’ is a stone throw closer. Twisty plots and complex characters are really my area of expertise.

Comments about Lemma Soft: I'm still quite knew, although I learned about Ren'py and tested it a year or two ago, by now. My first impression is that Ren'py is an awesome Novel engine, pretty well-made and thus ya'll awesome for making it and improving it nonstop!

I'm not sure what else to say here, so...
Miko asked about mushrooms... I never tasted them, but I find some cute. By the way, I love Mushroom-men/Fungoids, they're usually so peaceful and gentle, what's not to like about their race? >w<
