Hey there!

Im a non-porgrammer and i must say that some things are really hard for me, but working with basic stuff you can achieve great things, a lot more coding maybe and a lot of comment to not get lost and a lot of bad code too, but well not everything can be perfect, i want to thank PyTom for making this great and awesome engine and to all this community, reading this forum has raised my interest in Python, and maybe i will try to learn it...

Now i have a problem, the documentation of Ren´Py is big, but with so little examples, or real tutorials about getting something, the cookbook is not bad, but at least i need something more... any of you have some example codes? im more interested in works with ui and image maps...

Thx in advance

Well right now i cant download anything, here at my work conection is a pain in the ass, really
bu this weekend i will come to work and try to download The F**** Question and check the scripts
I have been reading yesterday and today the forums and i have learned some stuff, i still dont know anything about python, but i will catch with time

Im using Ren'Py to make a Educational Game, and Ren'Py cover all my needs, really even just using menus and if states with some variables you can do amazing things, of course as an Educational Game i dont have a finish but it would be interesting doing some things i have seen here at the forums.

Thanks again and cya around

Um...hello!

My name's lepapillonrouge, just shorten it to lpr, or rouge, or something. :)
I come from California. Not France. XD
I...don't have a website for visual novels. Yet. For character designs in the future, I do have lepapillionrouge.deviantart.com
I've been wandering around here for a week or so, and I've downloaded a couple of games so I can figure out how to make games. :)

I blame my interest in Touhou Project and Key/Visual Art's visual novels took me here. :D

Hei! :D Am also new. I'm chronic-spontaneity [should've thought of how long it would take me to type that each time I log in before hand... ], but call me chronic. From the Philippines, yeah. [... I seem to have picked up the habit of saying that from Deidara of Naurto... Weird, yeah...] I've downloaded Ren'Py, which is incredible, by the way, and I'm playing around, and trying to get the hang of it first.

Nah!... you don't neet to know Python to work on Ren'py (though it helps) I've been able to survive all this time using only image-maps.

Hello from Russia, Novosibirsk!

I'm Vladimir, member of Honyaku-Subs translation group.

Ren'Py games is very interesting for us. Most games on this engine is very nice and very easy to edit. (Obviously at first we get autor's permission).
