When I re-download the installer, it updates automatically with the e-mail I bought the game with. I also think it already was updated with an easier version and if you end up with an "alone" ending, you get to keep some of the stats you worked for. So I dunno, I think the difficulty isn't too bad.

No, she is indeed asking for a free copy. If you think about it, you never use the word CRACK except in warez forums! LOL
I had to ban her from my forums (and I'm not the only one making commercial games that had to). I am honestly shocked, I even made the Facebook competition to get a free game, and you didn't even needed the SKILL to draw since it was based on votes!

It just seems to me that she wants everything for free without any effort, without even trying. I am curious what she'll do once she grows up and will have to find a job! :D

(I had written a much angrier post, but don't want to end the year being grumpy!)

In all my experiences with Winter Wolves and Jack, he's been great. Always helpful to people who bought the game, even to the point where I'm amazed someone can be so patient and understanding.

If there is any misunderstanding, I'm sure there's no need to get upset.

Like we all said, if you did buy the game, you just need to re-download the installer from the Winter Wolves web-site. It already has an easy version and even if you lose, you get to keep some of the stats/boy affection points. Heck, you can even "cheat" by saving and reloading. Considering how great this visual novel is, I think it is worth it to play through the difficulty (although it is not that much) and enjoy the great story.

If there is a misunderstanding, I think there's no problem. But if not, you have to understand it from the perspective of commercial visual novel makers. They are making a living off of selling an item they worked very, very hard on. People beg for free games all the time without considering that. People steal the games too (I'm not accusing anyone, but I want to have people acknowledge that this occurs.)

How would you feel is something you worked hard for and invested a lot of time/money was given for free?

I'd feel bad. So if there is a misunderstanding, I'm sure this can be worked out. If not, then well...please respect the creators of these great visual novels.

Nice review thanks :) The "few CGs" is because CG are the most expensive thing (ranging from $200+ each), that game anyway has 8 CG which is the highest amount of any games I made so far (the new ones will probably have more though!).

O_O Wow, Jack, I didn't know you spent so much money on CG. I am sure there are many better artists that charge much cheaper price than that. Not that I am trying to say to be cheap, but I myself wouldn't charge that much for a CG unless each CG has too much details and took me 20 hours each.

Hmm...I always thought that this artist (for Always Remember Me) and Deji were the best artists I've seen for otome games. I love the artist for Planet Stronghold as well, but I must say that the art for this visual novel was a huge motivation for me to buy this one quickly. Not to harp too much on art, but there was a pretty highly rated commercial visual novel whose art I don't like. I've heard nothing but good things, but I won't buy it because it doesn't visually appeal to me.

EDIT: Oh, tooaya for sakevisual is great too. I must say, I thought the art for this visual novel just made this overall seem more special, plus the Cristina Vee theme song just sealed the deal. I'm sure you could get other art cheaper...I just wonder if it really would be "as good". But, I suppose that is personal preference.

EDIT #2: I just realized, I pretty much love all Winter Wolves visual novels. So yeah, I probably would have gotten this even if it had lesser art.

Well I'm an "aesthete" (hope I found the right word lol) so I really cannot force myself to make games with average/sub-par art. For me the art of the game is very important so I always try to find good artists :)

Haha, I do really like the art in all Winter Wolves. The commercial one that I didn't like was from another indie group and it wasn't a group whose works I had enjoyed previously. I do have a lot of faith (and expectations) for each Winter Wolves release. They are always very well done and professional. So long story short, I'm really looking forward to your next release :)

I want to contact this person who created this game... I want to know how she created that window or bar on the left side of the screen... I know I'm new to this...but I want to know how to do that... like life points, days, strength, etc...

Best bet is to send a PM to Lemma Soft Forums member Jack_Norton (he made the first post in this topic).
All of my VNs are at http://wolflore.net NOTE: Downloads are now working.
Some are at http://www.the-new-lagoon.com. NSFW
Poorly done hand-drawn art is still poorly done art. Be a Poser (or better yet, use DAZ Studio 3D) - dare to be different.

Really wish there was a way to see the non-ending scenes you've unlocked, and hopefully tell how many of those you've missed... it sounds like I missed out on a lot of the non-ending scenes. I've gotten all nine endings, but never had a scene where Hugh and Aaron confront each other, and the bad ending mentioned a confrontation in the restaurant between Amy and Aaron's dad that never actually happened. :(
