Title : MoeColo (Moemoe monster Colosseum)
Genre : Command-based battle (no story)
Version : 1.1 (2012/02/25)
Language : Japanese (English help is included)
Rating : 13+ (sexy costumes)
Resolution : 1024x640
Spec : A video card which supports OpenGL 2.0 or DirectX 9 required
Game engine : Ren'py 6.13
License : Creative Commons BY-NC-SA (The scripts is under the MIT license)
Download (All platform) : http://www.mediafire.com/?8p60rf8c9qill5h

This is a spin-off game from my project, Ethereal Gates, using its battle system. It has only battles and nothing more than it. I decide to release it as a complete game because this package itself is already durable to play (and with this system, scenarios and characters can be added anytime later).
At a first play, I suggest to use the auto battle function before reading a help manual. Enjoy :)

There is a full version which includes naked sprites without costume layers. Download at your own risk.
Rating: 15+~18+ (depending on your region)
Download (All platform): http://www.mediafire.com/?dbugqhsu13a8y3r

Hey, thanks for open-sourcing the system, I learned a lot from your implementation (mainly doing away with dissolve transitions entirely and using purely filmstrips).

Are you affiliated with circlemebius (Aya Emoto Research Institute)? Because I was thinking of how utterly cool this doujin circle is that uses western game engines:

Also branching into homemade anime:

If so, you're like a role model for me.

Thanks :)
I'm not affiliated with them, but I have learned many skills from their site and borrowed some free materials.

I enjoyed playing this game, it is surprisingly complex. Are the sound effects and music also under BY-NC-SA?

They're free materials. Original License are written in Japanese though, they're like CC-BY. Please include _readme.txt file in BGM or SE folder when you use them outside of this game package. the BG background isn't free material (I payed for it) and can be used inside of this package only (maybe should I replace this image?). I have drawn other images but I didn't decide their licenses when they're used outside of the package.

[edit] Does anyone know the replacement of the free background by chance? Size should be width 1280 minimum. thanks. Never mind. I find a replacement. Ver 1.1. will up later with a new costume and some minor fixes.

Replaced with 1.1.
Changes:
1. A new costume of Misaki
2. Replaced the back ground image with a free material
3. Made the normal battle a bit difficult.
4. Add windows icon
5. Some minor fix and code, help rewrite, e.t.c. (no change in the game play)
6. Add a full version link (for 15+~18+)

I mistakenly downloaded both version... only the full version should be enough right? Can't wait till Ethereal Gates full version comes out.

Perhaps it's just me, but the battle is very hard. And the inability to recover your HP is very punishing. Is the ability to recover HP missing because this is not the full version?

It must be hard because a test player is only me who knows all parameters ^^ Ethereal gates may have a difficulty select option.
Lack of HP healing skills are just my taste. There are many games which have MP and heal magic already and I want to make something different, more faster and dangerous thing.

I really like Nanaka. Her BGM and roller blade attack fits her very well. The challenge of no healing is really good and you can feel the tension when you miss.
