Description: The Affair is a kinetic novel using a story that I wrote for a short story challenge back in 2008 by PyTom, the creator of the Ren'Py visual novel engine. The challenge was to write a story with generic backgrounds and at least two female characters. My inspiration for this story comes from mid-nineties to 2000s romantic comedy anime such as Ranma 1/2, Love Hina and Onegai Twins.
This visual novel was made specifically for The Teacup Visual Novel Festival 2011. The resolution is optimized for 1024x600 netbooks and should work well with widescreen monitors.

Well, the game was nice though it was short.
But two things really pissed me off.
1. In the distribution package, there are two files of the game. So, the game is 31 MB, but it becomes double and so I had to waste twice the time downloading it.
2. There is no way to quit the game while it is playing.
He who doesn't care about the environment doesn't care about his grandchildren.
two files, eh? no need to spoiler tag it. I'll fix that right away.
Well, there is one way to quit the game, (in windows) simply press alt+f4 anytime while playing.
Edit: reuploading right now.
btw, you're inadvertently implying that everything I make is short. Here's a longer one to disprove that http://vndb.org/v3959
Edit2: New version uploaded. (only 30 mb)

e: "I'm waiting for the next train. Same as you, silly."
p: "WHAT! Y-You mean, this wasn't your stop either?"
e: "Oh, not at all. You see, I woke up so suddenly and presumed that my body clock had awakened me at my usual stop, but it turns out that I got off three stations earlier."
Very natural...)) And it made me fall down under the table with laughter...))

Arguably, he's quite lucky that Jessica never found out. In any case, I think most red-blooded males would simply go with the flow and enjoy the experience.
This older VN comes with its own PV
As well as showcasing how much I used to suck at drawing

@wright1000: Indeed. Although I treat her appearance here as more of a cameo role, this is actually post Wings II Eri.
The hint is in the contents of the calling card she leaves with the protagonist in The Affair

Well, as I said, it's a cameo role. Furthermore, I own the character, so I can make her however I please. As for her personality being different in both games, how would you really know though?
I don't believe I really elaborated on her personality in Wings II. The story talks more about past Eri rather than post Wings II Eri. Besides, as TVtropes would have it, this is word of god

Hehe! Is that really true? Being wise doesn't prevent one from being whimsical does it?
In any case the protagonist in Wings II is talking about past Eri because: (major spoiler for Wings II)
the protagonist is Eri with permanent memory loss. This is the reason why she's so obsessed with finding out everything there is to know about Eri. She just wanted to be acquainted with her past self.
