Ristorante Amore is a....... Well, why don't you try the game and see? NOTE: While I'd say that the prologue is safe for pretty much all ages, the post-prologue is very firmly 15+ for strong language and a tiny bit of sensual content. (kissing, that sort of thing) If you're uncomfortable with that, the prologue is still a good 20,000 words by itself, so it's pretty much a full game.
For more information about the game and all the download links, please see the official website.
Ren'Py 188.8.131.525 lint report, generated at: Sun Apr 1 03:07:16 2012
Statistics: The game contains 3,938 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 59,624 words,
for an average of 15.1 words per screen.
The game contains 37 menus.
THINGS OF NOTE:
- The prologue has 3 different endings. These do not count towards game completion, it's just that you have to beat the prologue at least once in order to play the post-prologue. (obviously?)
- The post-prologue has 9 different endings. Of those, 5 of them have CGs. However, you need to get all 9 endings to full-comp the game and unlock everything.
- The help button in the main menu does something different than the help button everywhere else. It would behoove you to see what the "main menu help" is like before and after beating the prologue, as the scenes you get are different. Once you've beaten the prologue, it's no longer possible to watch the prologue version of the "main menu help" unless you delete your save files/persistent data.
- I will be releasing the RPY files at a later date for people to use/learn from/etc. We just want the first players to not cheat. XD It's more fun that way!
UI: The above + Lazcht of stellar-Ø
Shout-outs: Kura and Carosene for putting up with all of Camille's ramblings, Aleema for her amazing tutorials (without which none of our UI would be possible), and PyTom for creating Ren'Py! :3
This has been a Cyanide Tea production. Please enjoy the game and please, please use spoiler tags in your posts.
08/20/12: The game is now available in German thanks to Marcel Weyers.
04/14/12: Version 1.1 has been released, which fixes various minor problems people had. I sadly couldn't fit in the music room; there just wasn't enough time for me to make it look good. D: So this is probably not worth a re-download unless you're very curious about the detail mismatches or that one sprite error really bugs you. I've also made the RPY files for the game publicly available for anyone who wishes to use them. You can get information on both of these things here.
04/05/12: We now have hints and walkthroughs available for people who are really stuck in the game, so give them a look-see. Because of spoilers, we highly recommend that you at least try playing through the game once first on your own before using these.
