Wow, impressive for making this in a weekend!!! Congrats for beating Ludum Dare!

I like the background music!

I kinda wish all my cards were spread out and more visible, though its a minor complaint.

I'm getting ready to get my butt kicked...maybe I shouldn't have had two glasses of Zin before attempting this?! Reminds me very much of Catan, which I am totally addicted to.

this game is pretty impressive for how short a time it was made in. the system itself works well.

that said, 10 cards for the minimum deck size is a mistake that no experienced card game player would've made. 30 would've been better as it would require the player to use a more balanced strategy.

there's two main problems:
1. the game throws an error if both the deck and discard are empty (which is inevitable with a 10 card deck and highly likely at 11)

2. the best possible deck is too easy to figure out and is made by just spamming one type of card

(best possible deck and I can explain very precisely why:
5 builders, 5 crystals, 2 keeps. guaranteed 4th turn win, with a possible win 3rd turn.

@KimiYoriBaka:

Thanks! I think you are right about 30 being a better number than 10. The game is in stasis for the next 20 days until the judging is over, but after that I will change the min deck.

Also, thank you for letting me know about the errors, I can fix those right away.

Other things I will change:
- space out the hand to make it easier to see
- have a discard whole hand option
- have a human vs human option
- have a computer vs computer option

Eventually I wan to add
- more AIs to play against (Using KimiYoriBaka's Deck  Mwa ha ha ha !)
- create a story around the game

My game was mentioned in a review:

Tiny World Cardgame — Card games are something we don’t often see in LD, which makes this game already worthy a look. It also features an awesome and very professional looking tutorial, and the ability to assemble your own deck. The rules for the card game itself are pretty simple, but allow for a lot of variation.

SQUEEEEE!
