I've finished reading it !

It was really cute and sometimes funny (only at the beginning) when I recognized some lyrics from an old song of... Patrick Bruel or something like that:
"Elle restait grisée" and "Dans ces bras audacieux" .
I loved the OST and the sketchy drawings: Cendrillon is so cute !
When she thinks "Il était là, à portée de main" it sounded like she was hunting. x)
The moment of the explanations about Cinderella's feet which are standard surprised me a bit ><

It was so sad when he married the duchesse (Was it...Angelina ?) and when Cinderella gave her virginity for a shop...
It was really touching when they met again (Cinderella and the Prince of course -_-") and when he told her "I found you" again I almost cried !! (Yeah, I'm too sensible !). I really loved your version of the story, but I admit that I prefer the true one. Yours is too sad !!!! T^T (Why...? Wasn't she the daughter of a gentleman ? Her father didn't do anything when she was thrown away by her step mother ?)

BTW, I noticed some weird expressions and misspellings like when it speaks of "les us et traditions de..." Isn't it "les usages" instead ? or "joite enfantine"etc But I understand that nowdays writting in ancient French may be difficult sometimes, you managed it perfectly in spite of those little mistakes. (which are not that important in fact...)

You have to translate it ! That way more people will be able to read it !
And don't you want to do the same thing with other tales ? With the same kind of drawings and all ?
One more thing:
I didn't really understood what poem in the end meant. What does it have to do with the ending ? I never understood what romantics wanted... (Sorry, for asking here, but I want your interpretation)

Yes, the story is very sad. The father did not do anything when Cendrillon was thrown out because he was under the stepmothers spell. She basically controlled every aspect of his life.

I didn't translate the poem, as I didn't really understand the relevance either.

A little message from the project leader :

She's impressed you saw the link between the script and "Mon Amant de Saint Jean" (by Edith Piaf, Bruel only did a cover from it) !
The first mistake isn't a real one, it was made on purpose. The second one is a typo, it'll be corrected in the next version of the game.
Also, the Rimbaud poem has a lot in common with the visual novel, so we thank it would be quite interresting to put it at the end of the game ^^

About cinderella, she ran awa from her house because she didn't see any need to stay, and her father was too busy with her two sisters.
Oh, and for now we don't plan any other fairy tale to make into visual novels, but maybe we'll try again in the future !

At least your Cinderella is more daring. Instead of suffering and dreaming that someone would save her, she just took care of her won life. But isn't that a bit anachronistic ? (But well, it's a fairytale, we don't know were and when it is...)

Played the English version. (It's come easier for me than French.)
Nice work for something that was done in a week.

I found the drawings cute, and the I liked the atmosphere the music created.

After the first black screen, I kept expecting a depressing ending. But it wasn't so.
I kind of liked this alternative version. It still had the fairy tale like atmosphere with a happy ending and yet not everything is perfect. A bit like how they used to be, but with an ending of a higher note.
And nice twist with the shoe.

Couple of typos I found in the Eng vers.

make their waist look thinier. -> look thinner
he protested, claiming that she looked ridiculous. - > She protested (it doesn't make sense otherwise)
she was rested against the old king -> she rested / she was resting

You might want to make the wind sound at the end louder. I only realised it was there when I put my volume really loud.

We're glad to see people enjoying this end, it's not a really easy end for a fairy tale as the world is used to see them those days.
