Looks good~ I'll download it when it uploads. ^^
curious though, since I don't really get the context from the screen shot, did you mean losing conciousness, or losing conscientiousness, as in getting messy?

Oh, that was a typo. I should have stomped it out though.

When Mediafire can finally decide what percentage it's on, I can give an ETA

Thank you to all the players of Death Rule: Fear Complex. For anyone who may be unaware, a script update has been posted above. This fixes quite a few typos. If the update is applied and you still spot another typo, feel free to report where it is in the story and we will fix it and release another script update. Happy Halloween!

Well that was an amusing and enjoyable Halloween read. It actually managed to spook me a couple times with the sound effects. (I was dumb enough to chose no at the choice and almost had a heart attack. I did not expect that) I loved the little "teaser" for the normal game as well, the reactions to that got a chuckle out of me.

For a short Halloween special, that was better than I thought it would be. (The lack of saving options will forever bug me though, even if it is short.) I'm definitely interested in the other games now.

However, I don't know if the script.rpy worked. I still see a couple typos (including the one mentioned above).

Glad you enjoyed it :) (And sorry for the scares, I couldn't resist ^^; )
That 'teaser' scene was where me and Ia really worked together, but he used words while I tried to do my best with images. Also, the music helped plenty. (And yeah, I guess I should have done a save/load screen. Version 1.1 should have a minor fix for this problem and allow you to select the chapter after starting said chapter)

And I wasn't really sure what the rpy file did, Ia just told me to upload it.

Version 1.1 is up. Mac and Linux versions to follow.

EDIT:
Linux version will have to wait a day or so until my connection decides to stop being an ass.

Alright, I've done playing this, so I guess I'm going to leave my feedback.
Overall I like this Halloween edition, everything flowed well and for someone slow such as me, I was able to catch up. It's too bad I don't really follow the main story, because I was curious of their relationships. However for something short and for someone who's completely clueless about the characters, I was able to guess their personalities after a few dialogues, which is a good thing.

I have no complains about the arts either, praise to Katon!
And the musics fit the atmosphere perfectly, I rarely listen to them whenever playing games, but since I know this is horror, and the background music will creep you out more, I let them be.
There's a few situation did shocked me, especially whenever there's screaming, but it didn't made me jump. I guess because this is just a story-telling, so it wasn't much scary for me.

I also spotted a few typos, and there was a time in George's story, the talker's name was misplaced with George's.
Overall, I give it a thumb up!

I recommend you wait a bit, because we'll be including it in our release of Overdrive Edition.
