Not bad :D I'd definitely like to see something similar to this, if a bit longer/more substantial, in the future.

Thanks! I'm a big believer in brevity, but, y'know, everyone's different :P

I tend to go the other way and try and fit in more complexity, but then I'm a glutton for punishment.

I actually just finished playing this via the website jayisgames. Pretty interesting story, although pretty curious as to how some parts were "accurately written" since sometimes there was no one really there to witness it. Such as the lightning scene with you know who with the brick. Of course, it is just a legend, stories passed down so as stated in the game not everything should be taken as it is.

Was kinda hoping that by the time I got to The Ascent decoding would get more difficult with the very last one having every single letter mixed up. Then again that's just me.

Wow, that was much more fun than I thought it would be.

Thank you both for playing! :D I'm glad you enjoyed it!

@Sunlit-Dreamer that really is something I wanted to leave for speculation. I don't normally like stories that leave large details up in the air but I think in this case given the subject matter it's very appropriate. You're not the comment on the lack of difficulty, and it's definitely something I'll work on in future. :)
