It's been years since rocker girl Sona Song last talked to her father, a famous classical music conductor. So she's shocked, and a bit annoyed, when he leaves his orchestra to her after he dies. Though Sona just wants to slack off, she's soon visited by Yin Le Hao, her father's musical protégé from China. Hao doesn't speak any English, but he's determined to whip the orchestra into shape no matter what.

Notes
a2 was made in one month (an early NaNoRenO project) by myself, Nellie, and azurextwilight. We are hoping to do a "remastered" version to retouch some things we weren't able to finish, so feel free to leave suggestions for improvement!

To unlock the Chinese translation mode (accessible from Settings), you need to get all three endings. Veebie made a nice walkthrough here if you get stuck. You can also check out the official walkthrough post.

I'M FINALLY ABLE TO CALL MYSELF A GAME DEVELOPER! CONGRATS ME PPLZ XD

I started playing a short moment ago.

The music and art are pretty great. I love the white slides with the black sketches. They're so crisp.

One comment about the music and sound effects. Some of the music has noise in it (Might be from compression or peaking). You can hear it in the main menu song.
Some of the sound effects are quite loud (the phone ringing is an example).

Some of the fonts are little large (to me at least) on some parts of the GUI. An example is the text asking if you want to overwrite over an existing save.

It's an amazing job done for one month's time. Definately near commercial quality.

Thank you very much! About the music, it might be more or less my fault since I helped find the music for the game, auugh. I hope it doesn't bother you though >_<

Ahh, I apologize! If there's problems with music compression, then it's most likely my fault - I was the one converting all the mp3s to ogg format, and I didn't really know the best way of doing this. If anyone has any advice for the future, it would be much appreciated!

I think it's a compression issue. I noticed Ren'Py (In my own toying with audio settings) prefers the audio to be 48 KHz. Anything higher will cause peaks. I know for sure that the audio has to be at a 16 bit depth. I tried 24, but Ren'Py will not play it. It could also be mic noise if the piano was recorded live.

Both Nellie and Aro are chinese, while I'm just as clueless as Sona XD

I'm still a few minutes into the game but I kinda encountered a few problems here an there... once in a while Ren'py crashes.

Also, in fullscreen mode, the whole screen becomes the hide/show window hotspot preventing any form of progress. Problem only appears when in fullscreen mode... other than those quirks. Congratulations on the release...
