This was a very nice change to the usual "Little Red Riding Hood".
I liked how it wasn't the wolf that was evil, but the "priestess of the moon".

Well really loved the story how you gave it a spin,
loved the way how you gave the story from the chose of two different kinds of beast, but it was kind of nice that in your tale the wolf was the helpful one and the mother moon was the villain.

Thank you Haze and Chibichann, for your comments.
Still, it's allways a sad story for the wolf...

Just played it, and got two endings, which seems to be all of them. The art is really impressive, and doesn't look too far off from what you might find in a fairy tale book. I definitely preffered
the wolf ending, the human father was a bit obnoxious due to his weird overreactions about women.

Haha, yeah. I got a good kick out of the matriarchal jokes/seriousbusiness. (Might not be funny to everyone.)

Thank you for playing, Funnyguts.
Yes, that human ending could not be that different, as the story was showing that humans are really obnoxious. But we may forgive that father, he was upset because he had lost his beloved little daughter (worse for him: she had just become the major symbol of that matriarchal society). In my conversations with the proofreaders, I remembered that the way the girl was looking for a protective father, when she met the wolf and the soldier, was signaling that she and her father were very close to each other. I don't know if it's easy to understand, but I believe in the end the human father was crying for his missing daughter, and not (exactly) because he was living in a society ruled by women.

Thank you for playing, mer ("sea of love", isn't it? The absence of spaces in your username makes me wonder... :? )

Really enjoyed this! Your twists on the fairy tale were inventive, and the art is beautiful and stands out for its unique look.

I posted that I'll play this a long time ago, but actually forgot that I had downloaded it ((: Which means I played Toire no Hanako before this...

Donmai, you truly did not disappoint me with this little work of art. After Toire no Hanako, I was pretty hyped about what you were going to make next--and then I remembered that you actually have another KN. This was such a beautiful KN, Donmai, and I am now a fan of yours ಥ‿ಥ

By 'beautiful', I meant that the writing, story, the music, and even the effects (like Lil Red running), conspired to make this one great game to play through/read.

Thank you so much for this! Please make another game! ヽ(´ー`)ノ

Well, since Toire No Hanako is still in beta, Li'l Red is really my "first" VN... :)

I have proposed myself the creation of several VNs with different themes/art styles/narration techniques. Currently I'm working on a sci-fi story (The Maker) which I abandon from time to time when inspiration runs away. But my very first and still unfinished project (Slumberland) is... an Otome game! And that's my biggest challenge: would a gray-haired male on his fifties have success on such a task? Well, so far it seems girls are appreciating my stories, so maybe I could really create a not-so-bad Otome game, who knows?
