The Twins [GxB, Romance, Friendship, Slice of Life]

The Twins is a 13+(for minor swearing) relatively short and very interactive slice of life otome visual novel. I created it over the course of just a couple days as a way of practicing with sprites before I start making more in-depth novels.

-There are three obtainable guys, each with a romantic, friendship, and bad ending.

-It's a little less than 1,500 lines of coding. (I would guess maybe half an hour of playing time? Possibly less.)

-I've tested it through a couple times but there are still probably some errors. Let me know if the game gives you any trouble.

-This time it has anime sprites instead of real people. (And hopefully with my new drawing pad I won't have to ever use Google images or MS paint ever again~!)

-I will be uploading a combined Windows/Linux/Mac version of it for download. If you want a specific version (like just Windows or just Mac), let me know and I'll upload it.

-The download of the novel includes a word document with a walkthrough of the game. If you have any issues locating or opening it, let me know and I'll post the walkthrough up on here.

I'm sorry that you're getting that problem... it originally was acting up but changing the walkthrough seemed to fix it.

Hmm... Instead of

"You jerk!"

, try saying

"It was poisoned."

If that still doesn't work, please let me know and I'll look over the code again to see if I can figure out why it's being weird.

^^I tried Xander's route, too and kept on getting Max's. I finally got it when I chose

'pudding and a ham sandwich'

instead of the

'giant turkey leg'.

Yes, the game should work on Mac. It's only been tested on Windows, though, so it'd be great if you let me know how it worked for you when you play

Thank you for making this game, it was enjoyable for me. Although the story could have been a little bit stronger, I still enjoyed it overall. Usually I can pick a favorite character, but I have trouble in this one! (This is a good thing)
