What is this place...? What is this... this monster...?
A short, kinetic novel about feeling isolated and alone in new surroundings. It's approx 1,100 words so will last you around 10mins. It was written and created entirely in one day! I really like to do these very short projects now and then because it feels good to have something whole and complete to motivate you.

That was... breath taking.
I forgot that it's a small novel and for a moment I was exited about it so much that when I saw the "credits" I thought that it's just an opening or something and I was like "that's exiting!, OK here we begin"
THE END...
.?
.?
.?
!?!?!?????
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!... it ended.
that was great writing really, a piece of art! keep it up

I liked it a lot. As you promise, the VN conveys the feeling you wanted.
The music helps a lot, also.
At every clue I was thinking (is she human? Isn't she? The title says "EarthGirl"... :S )
I like the font, too, neat and elegant.
Go on creating!

I have just finished playing it and congrats on finishing a KN in a single day.
(I am pretty inspired to challenge myself like this too sometime!)
I was surprised you managed to convey quite a bit without relying on a large number of resources.

Well done.

Thanks very much Kessie! Yeah it's always a challenge to do so, I'd have liked to have added a bit more polish and some more visuals to the game, but it is what it is. Thanks for checking it out!

Oh my. This was a great little KN. Your prose was just wonderful, and, although you made a few grammatical mistakes (like switching from present tense to past), it didn't distract me from being entranced by the story. This proves that a visual novel doesn't really need a ton of graphics just to make it good. The story bolstered it up well enough.
Thank you for the minutes of enjoyment this brought me~!

I went ahead and played it! It was short, but pretty easy to get into since the writing was very descriptive and the music u chose in the background complemented the game very well.
I do have one spoiler-like question, though:
So was the main protagonist an Earth girl or an alien? I was thinking that it was an alien since I thought the main protagonist had said that he or she was on the planet Earth to do research, etc.
Thx for the great game!

Thank you very much~! Much appreciated :3
As for the question:
Well, that's really left open still. But the hint is that she may be something other than human, who knows? Haha.
