Derpworld Ren'Py Game {Romance Comedy Adventure}

This my first Ren'Py game and was originally supposed to be more a demo-ish-thing to get me used to the program (hence all the doodles instead of hard-core drawing).



Story

Your name is Reiko and you live in a little town called "Derpworld" where everything is random and you are the only sane one.

However you're beginning to wonder if all this randomness is purely innocent...and as you start having weird dreams and encounter even weirder people, you discover that there's something sinister lurking in this town and only you can stop it!

Characters

Reiko



The logical protagonist of the story, Reiko is a seventeen-year old girl who feels like the strange one in a world of randomness. When she meets Hachiro, Ryuu, and Toshio, she realizes she may not be alone....

Hachiro



At first glance, Hachiro seems spacy and lazy, but once you get to know him, he's actually very strict and serious. He also seems to have been a very large part of Reiko's past...

Ryuu



Basketball rookie and superstar Ryuu is as friendly as he is atheltic (which is saying a lot). Though, is his friendliness just a part of his personality....or is there a reason why he's being extra nice towards Reiko?

Toshio



Unlike the other two, Toshio doesn't have any secrets. He's just your average guy who likes writing ever now and then. Yet, against his own wishes, he's thrust into the same adventure Reiko is....

Derpworld itself is part romance, part comedy, part adventure, and even part tragedy. (Oi, that's one tall order. Though I know first-timers aren't really recommended to do complex stories, I couldn't stop myself. It's a flaw.)

As you can tell (and as I had mentioned before) the drawings are really ehhh 'sketchy' (excuse the pun) so at times
the characters may overlap each other since they're see-through or, um, 'blocky' (you'll know what I mean). However, if there are some problems that absolutely need to be addressed then please give me a heads up.

If you've beaten Hana and the transparent background flashes, don't worry, I am aware of this. I kind of thought it looked cooler this way so I left it as is.

Anyways, I really would appreciate it if you just gave my game a quick play.

Wow! Just looking at the description, and wow! O,O!

First of all, congrats on finishing your very own VN! Your VN seems unique, I must say. IDK why the artwork urges me to play it, besides the sypnosis, of course.

Oh, the file seems a bit too large, doesn't it? But then I remember that you say there are at least 18 endings all together, so I could understand (though it may pose a problem to people with low internet speed). Can't you cut down the file size?

Thank you! I'll take down the hotfile windows download (assuming that's the one that is 'malicious') and see what I can do about the file size.

Edit - So I changed the windows download and the file size was something I was not able to change very much. If you have any suggestions I would very much appreciate it.

My first impression after this will be

Except this I think you did a pretty good job and even if it was sketches I liked the pictures.
