Haha, the three doors "puzzle" was a real troll move. After being completely stumped, I had to check the script files for the nasty surprise.
Going through the same door 70+ times, reeeaallyyy...
Then, there was the typewriter. Once again, I had to resort to reading the script to find that the puzzle is actually incorrect.
The letters that are circled are always from TOUCHES, even when not all 7 letters from that word are found in your Rorschach answers. This happens because you forgot to break out of the anagram-generating loop after finding a valid solution. To be more specific, soldict always has indices for TOUCHES, which isn't always the valid solution.

The canvas is 3x3; the books show a 3x3 grid of dots. Draw the triangles together on the same 3x3 grid, and you'll see the path that you need to take.
