Well as long as you enjoyed it then thats the main thing I guess :)

Do you mean you think there should be more depth to Hannah's ending and history then? Maybe finding out more about Hannah's history and persona in her ending than what we already find out would be the solution to that :) But yeah, I defintely agree Emma feels slightly left out, so that additional chapter is definitely something I'll consider! :D (And you may be pleased to know I'm considering doing other stories set in the Stilwater Creek universe, so you ever know what characters might pop up in these other stories :P).

Well that's great then! :D Haha I got the feeling, and can understand why you'd not like her :P

I guess you're right, but it's still something I'll look at changing for v1.3 if I decide it's something I want to do :)

Once again, thank you for all your kind words! :D

I just finished this game few days ago ........yesterday? X] and.......i will be honest i liked your writing, it's really clear which from the girls i am most close to XD and the art is cute, kinda wish there was some cgs but that's fine.
The game was kinda depressant? in my opinion lol the suicide, breakups and the nightmars. I wanted to see how Poul looked like, imagine him to be the manly kind looking (big shoulders, tall) XD
Good luck with your other vers and games~ i will look forward to play them~~

Hi King-sama, and thank you for taking the time to play my game! :D

I'm glad you enjoyed the writing to the extent you have favourite characters! :D The reason I didn't put CGs in is because all the art I use is from a free resource site (in fact, everything I use is either made by myself, or is from a royalty free resource website), and getting a different artist to draw CGs would lead to inconsitencies between the sprites and CGs, something I wouldn't be keen on myself.
I guess the depressing story is kind of the point of the game, and how trivial things you do before anything depressing happens can affect how you deal with situations like breakups etc. Lack of coding skills stopped you from seeing Paul (I know it is possible for me to put a Paul sprite next to his dialouge every time he talks, but I have no idea how. It's definitely something I'll consider for v1.3 though! (I'll find the tallest sprite I can :P).
Thank you, and thanks again for playing! :)

Just played through this and thought it was really good! I especially liked the way Hannah's route panned out :3

Really loved the game. Very entertaining.
especially slamming the door in Jenifer's face... really just hated her in case you couldn't tell
One thing I would like to ask however: would you consider any of the seven paths to be a “True” ending? If so, I would be interested to hear the reasoning.

Thank you for your very kind words about my game! :D
Yeah, it appears Jennifer isn't a very popular character... I wonder why? :P
I wish I had a more interesting answer for your question, but unfortunately, despite having my personal favourite routes and endings, there is no "true" ending (which I guess is the reason I'm doing VNs set in the Stillwter Creek world instead of direct sequels nowdays). :)

Oh my god, that was extremely riveting. The story was absolutely amazing. The plot was very very good, and I enjoyed the romance aspect being almost... a slow buildup, I suppose? It was very realistic. I very much look forward to a sequel or continuation of some sort ;)
Know that Jack's death is unavoidable was probably the saddest part for me.
Also, I received an ending in which Alison and I became close, but she moved to Japan. Is this the bad ending for Alison?
I plan to replay very soon!
What's in a loop? A loop iterated in any other way would output as sweet.

Wow, thank you very much meiri! The fact that you enjoyed my story so much means a lot to me! :D
The continuations mentioned in the original post are coming (albeit slowly, due to some personal IRL problems, but they'll be out eventually!) :P
And yes, that is Alison's bad ending, the game should have told you so after the credits I believe? If not, I'll have a look at the code and try to figure out why :P
That's great to hear! If you have any thoughts on the other 6 endings please let me know, I'd love to hear! :D

I loved your game! It has been one of the best I have played! The music, the characters, the stories, all beautiful! I got 6 of the 7 endings, and I know how to get the last one now by looking at some of the things you wrote (thanks for that).I must say that my favourite would have to be Louisa, and then Jennifer, then Alison...or maybe not. Maybe I like Alison a bit more...I didn't quite like Jennifer's because
it just seemed so far-fetched with the whole 6 years of dating and then going to marry her, and she doesn't think that he loves her. And then again she goes to leave Paul again for the same guy because she still doesn't believe that Paul loves her until you flip out!
Ah well, what can you do? Interesting touch, though. I don't want to make this too long so that I can get back to playing this game and get the last ending! :D Too bad not a lot of people have played this game, it deserves such a larger fan base, because of how well it is written, and because of how much you put into it. Almost brings a tear to the eye... But I can't cry! Have to save it for the game! I'm so glad that you didn't put things in the game that was...overly inappropriate. I'm also glad that even though the first portion of the game is linear, you can still go about being a nice guy, or a jerk. It's always nice to see how much effort people put into games by letting you be yourself, or the closest thing to yourself. First time I played through the game, I got Jennifer's bad ending because
I didn't want to flip out on her, and so I was calm about it, and she left me to go and be with her stalker. I had a similar problem with Alison, because I didn't want be selfish and talk about us, and then I got her bad ending. Louisa's ending was the easiest to get because it was better for someone who is kind. You just have to be kind. It is very nice. :)
I'm going to end this here so that I can go and get the last ending! Game on  lol!

I think I have maybe 5/7 endings...it's a pretty good game.

People seemed bothered by Jennifer, and I get why...we're playing as Paul...he got dumped after a 6 year relationship by her...I get it. She didn't bother me that much though. I need to go back and see what happens if I slam the door on her...I was just too nice to do it the first time around.
Ah...Jack's death was unavoidable...his eyes...O.o
I did like Paul though, and Alison had to be my favorite love interest. Having the students in homeroom was pretty nice too. I really liked that addition. It wasn't romance, but it was satisfying in it's own way. I got Alison's bad ending first...ahaha, had to reload and change the answer to the last choice. That was much better!

Louisa was pretty cute. I thought I wouldn't like her, because of the teacher/student relationship, but it was actually pretty nice to play through her route. She didn't come across as a 'slut' as it was put at some point in the game.

Overall, the friendships and romance was pretty great here. It was really realistic, and unrushed (minus Jennifer, but they knew each other for years so...it makes sense). I need to try to get Hannah's ending with the non-romance.

ClockworkIblis, it means so much to me that you enjoyed my little game so much! I can understand why you didn't like Jennifer's route for that reason though, as I said earlier in this thread I didn't give Jennifer or Alison's routes as much thought as I perhaps should have (or at least in comparison with Louisa and Hannah) :P But yeah, it's wonderful to hear that you were so touched by something I made up (and I know you were probably joking, but if you genuinley cried at my game then that's just overwhelming... I shouldn't be so happy I made someone cry... what a horrible person I am :P ). But yeah, hopefully you enjoy that last ending, it's my personal favourite! :D

And Ghost-Rain, thank you too for your kind words :) I hope you like the small differences I put in after the door slam, they're a little troublesome to code but I think it was definitely worth putting the option in (or rather I had to since
it can potentially change the ending... and while I'm in spoiler mode, yes Jack's death is unavoidable. As much as I'd have liked to have an option to save Jack, Paul dealing with Jack's death is far to central to the final two chapters :/
But I'm really glad you liked most of the characters! Thank you again for playing! :D

HalYac17...(nice name) I did cry while playing your game! I feel almost like you were mocking me when you said that you didn't think that it was genuine. Makes a tear come to the eye...but I used up all of my tears playing your game...I really did enjoy that last ending! It was beautiful, but as I looked through all the endings again (neglecting the bad endings) Hannah's ending is one that you stay in touch with more of the students than the other three. I would have liked it if you stayed in contact with more than just two or three of the students in your class. I know that there isn't a whole lot to begin with, but most end up with keeping in contact with two or three, but that leaves five that just completely forget about you, or vice versa. Man, that would be terrible to forget about those students after all of that handwork that you put into forging them out of their moulds that they have put themselves into. I still have to say that Louisa's ending is my favourite, coming in with a close second of Hannah's ending. I have one other question/comment: what is Haru-Kesu Games? Is there anyone else in the group, or is it just run by you? But, you are a horrible person! Not because you are happy that I actually cried, but because you made Jack's death unavoidable! I know that it was key to the game and all, but such a sad thing! Oh well. Sorry for putting all the spoilers just out in the open, but I did all of this with "Quick Reply", and it isn't one the option, because there aren't any options! lol, oh well. I'm going to jump off here and play a few VNs, then probably play Stillwater Creek again!

Oh no, I wasn't mocking you at all! It's just... it's a strange feeling when a story that I made up entirely in my head has affected someone so much... a good strange though! :D It would've been nice to keep in contact with more students but 1) I felt fewer would be more realistic and 2) I wanted to keep the epilouges nice and short. But I understand why you think losing contact with so many would be hard on Paul... :P Haru-Kesu Games is the dorky "company" name I made up to plaster on any games I make (I put my name, Hal, into google translate and told it to translate to Japanese, and it spat out two potentially correct words - Haru and Kesu. I decided Haru-Kesu sounded kinda cool and the rest is history I guess) :P However, as you can see I put company in inverted commas earlier and that is because it is litterally just me. Everything I didn't make in Stillwater Creek I got from royalty free resource sites, and this will be the case for all games that I make iin the forseeable future (I'm currently on a hiatus due to 1] having no creative energy and 2] IRL life being made really busy by uni) :P I know, I wish I could've saved him, but all the ideas I had weren't any good... creatively it was the only thing I could do... :( Although posting spoilers without spoiler tags... Now look whos the horrible person :P (FYI the Full Editor button next to the Submit button will let you add spoiler tags etc, just for future reference) :) Haha have fun, and thanks again for taking the time to play my game! :D
