Hey...umm...I'm really sorry, but how do I play this game? Is it an Adobe Flash game? Or a Ren'Py game? I downloaded the zip file, but when I unzip it, it doesn't seem to run.

You can run it in your browser, or... better... use the stand-alone Flash Player.
In that regard, I'd suggest giving either a HTML page or an EXE launcher along with the SWF file ^^;. Not everyone knows what a SWF file is.

I just tried the Prologue and first chapter and the biggest thing I want to say is : turn down the music and sound volume ^^;... It's *very* nice what you've done with the all ambiance, but when someone is talking, it gets drowned by all the other sounds and it's annoying :/.
I'd also suggest using a transparent button that covers the picture and have it act like the other "move forward" button. It's just better to be able to click pretty much anywhere on the screen.

Can't really say much for the story. Intriguing for now, but it's really only just begun.

I think even if I compiled as an exe, Flash Player is still required to run it. That's why I figured there wasn't much point? Also, an exe file is a lot bigger than a swf for some reason =O.
Yeah okay I will try and turn down the ambience and music before uploading the game onto my own server. Thanks.

"I think even if I compiled as an exe, Flash Player is still required to run it."
Uh... no. Exe = standalone.

"Also, an exe file is a lot bigger than a swf for some reason =O."
Because the exe is Flash Player + your SWF. Makes sense :)

Hmm... Great game. Expect one of my drawling reviews soon ( err... When I have more time :? ) and congratulations for an excellent second project.
May we host the new version of Missing Memoir at the RAA? :D

Thank you Mr. E. Writing v. novels is just my way of giving back to the community, so yes, please feel free to upload the game onto RAA. Let me know when it's up.

victorita9, I meant I spent hours making the game ^__^;. Fixing the sounds actually only took around an hour. But yes, thanks for downloading it. Hope you'll like it.

Bless.

Currently downloading...

I'm peppy to see the finished product.
Korina Sanchez: Ex-sensei Mel, we've met again.
Mel Tiangco: I'm expecting this from my former student.
Korina Sanchez: I know all along the reason for your presence.
Mel Tiangco: Of course. Your hairbrush.
Korina Sanchez: Snatch it again? Well, you're mistaken. It's because my hairbrush's container is packed with security features. What's your say?
Mel Tiangco: If you can do security... (pause) then 120% of my strength will shatter it!

Woo hoo! So fun!

It's really great to see it all come together with voice, music and graphics!

I've got a question:
is any text supposed to be in the text window?I can't see any and while I do understand the dialogues at the beginning I have quite some problems with the nurse, especially when the piano plays.(sorry, English isn't my first language and to make matters worse I learned it mostly on my own...)

The text is supposed to be displayed on the bottom of the screen. Is it not displaying? :?
Can't wait to hear more comments.

Nope, nothing.I tried restarting it but I still can't see any text, tomorrow I'll try again...Though I can already say I really like the graphics, the character design itself is quite lovely and the menu at the beginning is really something!^w^
The musics are also awesome, they give an interesting and quite original atmosphere to the game.
