To Kill A Black Swan [Murder Mystery]

A short murder mystery visual novel about a detective, a yoga course attendant, a grieving wife, an obsessed cleaner, a “bro”, and a bitchy friend. To Kill A Black Swan is not your average whodunit, nothing is as it seems to be, it is all about superficiality (and beneath the surface it has an important message to tell.) TKABS was created for the 2014 Indie Game Development Contest and is available for free. The title is inspired by To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, but it is an original story.

Man.. MAN. That was amazing! I'm trying to avoid spoilers for those who are currently reading, but amazing! It was completely free of stereotypes, and I was not expecting the true ending at all! Although there were typos here and there, it's defiantly a must to play it! This is certainly going on one of my favorites!

@Ran08
Thanks! I hope you'll enjoy it. I've written the game in English first and translated it afterwards. My native tongue is German, though :)

@Sherberry
Oh God, thank you so much! I was hoping for that reaction from players! I was kinda in a rush to finish it because of the contest, but I'll probably looking for proofreaders and update the game. Thanks again for playing! ^_^

...Or then again, maybe not. All of the download links seem to be broken. Are you aware of this?

The lack of a 'save' or 'load' feature kinda threw me off at first, but then it made my playthrough choices seem all the more important (plus rollback is still allowed, so... :) ).

The plot was fun to delve into, and even if the characters were silhouettes, your writing somehow made them feel real.

All in all, thank you for this. ^^

@Bisha
Hope you enjoy it! I'll let the artist know, he will be pleased that you like the art. ^_^

@Michan
Yes, I purposely turned off the setting to force players to finish it in one go, sorry about that ^^
Thanks for your compliment. As an author that's really nice to hear :)

You're welcome! :)

Very quick, but interesting~!

Somehow, I was suspecting what the truth end was but then I was like "Nah, I'm probably wrong..." and I ended going through every other possibility XD
But, after 11 tries I finally get there! Yaaay~! xD

Anyway, good work! Looking forward to more of your works ;)

@Angie
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed and look forward to more of my games :D
I'm trying to tackle interesting topics in my works.

UPDATE
The game has been updated to include a Polish translation (thanks to Damian K.)
Also, I fixed some minor bugs and used the new Ren'Py version. The file size is also slightly smaller.
If there are more translators out there who would like to translate this game (or one of my other visual novels) you are more than welcome to contact me! :D
